WFH, your DS sounds great I keep telling DH that I'm going to raise our DS to be gay so I have someone to go to musical theatre with & he can be my own personal Gok Wan. Apparently I'm not allowed to actively brainwash him

Have just texted frekkles.

Auld, your DS is always making me swoon I love hearing stories about everyone's existing children - they all have such distinctive personalities just from the occasional anecdotes you tell over the internet. It's so exciting for me as a first timer

Bleuravin · 27/03/2009 12:14

it might just be that I've had too much caffeine... i had a coffee this morning...

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 27/03/2009 12:15

right that's it i'm trading in my dd (and the unborn one) for boys!! dd keeps telling me i'm a fatty!! not helped by the fact that dh walked in from work yesterday and exclaimed "WOW love!! you're huge!! how is it that you seem to get more massive on a daily basis, its crazy????" grrrr

Me too, Nutty. Me too.

surprise, sorry to disappoint your DH but me & my sister just liked to playfight with our dad for years, too I still spar with him sometimes, even in this state

Enjoy the film, WFH

PuzzleRocks · 27/03/2009 12:17

WFH and Auld - Your sons sound ace.

SpringySunshine · 27/03/2009 12:19

When people tell me that I'm huge I just reassure myself that it means that at some point he'll have to come out. There'll be absolutely no other way for it to continue. So the bigger I am, the sooner that has to happen

Ooh, Puzzle, 9 is my lucky number - these threads are obviously in tune with me

& how much does Nutty talk?!

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 27/03/2009 12:19

i chat too much

enjoy the film

BoffinMum · 27/03/2009 12:19

Juwes et al, they haven't done renal function etc but bloods and ECG will be triggered upon return of BP chart in a week or so's time. Still waiting for GP's call.

Is it important that he takes the medication anyway even if there are no apparent results and only side effects?? Is he going to have a stroke/heart attack at work with that BP???

I think I should nag him to go and see a specialist perhaps.

surprisenumber3 · 27/03/2009 12:21

ah. I remember the same too Springy. The Ds's are always loving me and cuddling me (although Ds1 doesn't really like to admit he likes it anymore), DS2 regularly says 'I love mummy the most, she's pretty and I'll marry her' and then sits on my lap cuddling for ages. When DH asks for a cuddle he will go over to him with his arms out and then start jumping on him and swinging off his neck etc! It's cute but DH really wants some LO cuddle time!

SpringySunshine · 27/03/2009 12:21

Ah yes, but at least I'm at the lower end of that list & you're only just below, missy!

Bleuravin · 27/03/2009 12:22

dh just invited me out with him and his work buddies for a curry... would it be silly to go? i'd have to drive into town...though it's right by the hospital...

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 27/03/2009 12:22

ah but you are 6th Puzzle

Boffin - ((hugs))

SpringySunshine · 27/03/2009 12:22

I have a text from frekkles - she's fine, been working lots & is knackered. Says she'll pop online & say hey when she can

Juwesm · 27/03/2009 12:22

Like this names website - it has a random name generator. I am changing my name to Alpha Pocahontas Wesm, as suggested!

BoffinMum · 27/03/2009 12:23

Bleu, why not? Take your hospital stuff with you to be on the safe side. If you are in labour you'll need a good meal to get your strength up.

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 27/03/2009 12:23

Bleu - are you having it at the Heath?? or CRI?

BoffinMum · 27/03/2009 12:24

PS Obviously don't drive if you're having regular contractions of the toe-curling type. But general grumblings are OK.

Bleuravin · 27/03/2009 12:24

heath

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 27/03/2009 12:24

Springy- ahhh cool

Bleuravin · 27/03/2009 12:26

i do have emergency bag in the car... no regular toe curling...just occational breathy intakes...

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 27/03/2009 12:26

Bleu - its not that close to town!, can your dh not drive?? i suppose there are loads of taxi's in town as long as you can leave the car, park in the ncp by the station at least its manned 24/7

surprisenumber3 · 27/03/2009 12:27

ooh Bleu - and a curry too, make it a hot one!!

SpringySunshine · 27/03/2009 12:27

That website just named me:

Frigg Clytemnestra Mitchell

How do I possibly get given such a rude sounding name?
