Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
SmuttyNuttyTaff · 27/03/2009 09:59

Auld - I think she would be ok with that, go for it xx i'm a bit worried as we've gone through about 3 threads with no word.

AuldAlliance · 27/03/2009 10:01

Ok, Nutty, will do it after lunch, just off to school in a mo.

B52s · 27/03/2009 10:01

I'VE FINISHED WORK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 27/03/2009 10:03

B52s YAY now put the kettle on get comfy and have you snacks and supplies at the ready

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 27/03/2009 10:03

Alud - fab, thanks

BoffinMum · 27/03/2009 10:04

Bleu may be under starter's orders!!!

Bleu, just make sure your DH doesn't invite 20 for cocktails tonight!!

Thanks for advice on DH's BP, people. I have put his readings on the chart and I might phone the GP at some point to give her the lowdown.

B52s · 27/03/2009 10:05

Gotta go to the phlebotomist now. Hate my blood being taken. Will put kettle on when I return and start handing out the biccies.

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 27/03/2009 10:06

Boffin - how are you coping with it all? you ok? xx

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 27/03/2009 10:10

anyone fancy some mini eggs??

LuLuBai · 27/03/2009 10:22

Ooooooooh mini eggs. I love you Nutty.

Congrats B52s!

Grrr - managed to psyche myself up to taking DD swimming and DH seems to have hidden the car keys.

Oh well - back to the house cleaning....

LuLuBai · 27/03/2009 10:23

Nutty - on the subject of cars, remembering you said that your MIL wants to drive you to hospital and that DH only has provisional licence. Just wondering how you got to hospital with your DD?

PuzzleRocks · 27/03/2009 10:24

Lulu - Hooray for engagement.
I'm dying to know what yor surname is...
Vaginaman?
Mufferts?
Snatchinson?
The mind boggles.

That's awful that someone tried to stitch your Mum up like that, especially after she did the decent thing. I have witnessed so many people just drive off after scratching or bumping other cars. Try not to worry about it. Perhaps your preghead wrote down the wrong number?

Swali - Glad everything is moving forward on the homefront.

Boff - Do you think it's a vicious circle perhaps, the worry is keeping the pressure high?
I wish I had something useful to add. Sorry.

WFH - You might want to hold on until Monday now. Monday's child is fair of face... and all that. Can you guess that myself, DH, and DD were Monday babies?

Auld - I found the hospital, or perhaps it was the G&A, quite drying so was more comfortable in my glasses.

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 27/03/2009 10:25

LuLu - got BIL to drive us the first time (got sent home, naturally ) then took a taxi in an hour later

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 27/03/2009 10:28

whats Fridays child supposed to be??

Puzzle - the fact that you are a mondays child doesn't suprise me you beautiful people you

Bleuravin · 27/03/2009 10:31

See my post worked doubly well even though I got booted off again and has taken me many tries to get back on...wonder if DH has somehow boody trapped MN...

Period pains for last couple of days and my bits are very tender to the touch/wipe (TMI). tightenings/ clenchings in the nether regions too so much so that inner thighs ache quite a bit. Walking seems to make it all worse. No plug or water though. But bowels have been emptying themselves very regularly (tmi). Really hoping it happens after Wednesday though because DH will be off of work and we won't miss out on any money

PuzzleRocks · 27/03/2009 10:32

BB - Sorry you are having more trouble with the car. And poor DH, I hope he gets better soon, and sorts out his work colleague.

Bleu - How exciting, don't go away. We need constant updates.

B52s - Yippee. Relax and enjoy.

I have M&M peanuts and Maltesers to share.

Nuts -

Mondays child is fair of face,
Tuesdays child is full of grace,
Wednesdays child is full of woe,
Thursdays child has far to go,
Fridays child is loving and giving,
Saturdays child works hard for his living,
And the child that is born on the Sabbath day
Is bonny and blithe, and good and gay.

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 27/03/2009 10:34

Thanks puzzle

PuzzleRocks · 27/03/2009 10:35

Congrats to Bronze for her stealth on the last thread.

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 27/03/2009 10:36

ahhhh dd & dh are both monday children too

Bleuravin · 27/03/2009 10:39

Mom said to me when I was getting ready to leave after my wedding (got married on Sat. and left USA on Monday) that she always knew I'd be the one to move away because of the Thursday's child...

LuLuBai · 27/03/2009 10:40

DD was born on a Monday

This one is due on a Wednesday. Fingers crossed it isn't one of those rare entities that actually arrives on it's due date.

1st April is a Wednesday this year. That is a bummer. Lets all keep our legs crossed for that day.

Puzzle - need to send you a text anyway to check I have right number for you. Will include surname. Snatchinson - ha ha ha - no but it could be.

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 27/03/2009 10:40

Bleu - all sounds very promising!!

PuzzleRocks · 27/03/2009 10:41

Bleu / Nutty - How lovely.

Good tool for checking dates here

PuzzleRocks · 27/03/2009 10:43

Lulu - This one is due on a Wednesday too.

Juwesm · 27/03/2009 10:44

Morning all!

Nutty - PMSL @ Oxo Tower thread

Boff - Would it help if you took over doing the BP readings altogether, e.g. don't let him see the result or the recording sheet, just smile enigmatically and not tell him? - I wonder if that would be less stressful for him? With the 130 diastolic I probably would ring the surgery just to let them know, but also probably worth getting him to do repeat reading 15 minutes later or something like that if you have a particularly high one, in case of erroneous readings.

Being of a suspicious and cynical nature, I would also 'double-check' he is taking the tablets each day.

Errrm....have now forgotten everything else I've read. Happy due date to WFH! Fingers-crossed for Bleu!

How can it possibly be quarter to eleven already?
