Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Never too late for hypnobirthing, Ginger. Buy the Marie Mongan book and perhaps her (somewhat cheesy) CD if you can find it. Then play the CD once a day until you give birth and I am sure it will help.

bronze · 23/03/2009 09:19

bb you'll go before me I'm not due for a month and a day

BoffinMum · 23/03/2009 09:20

If BB isn't careful she'll go at work at this rate.

BoffinMum · 23/03/2009 09:21

Her boss will have to deliver the thing!

Schulte · 23/03/2009 09:23

I've heard that my boss's waters broke in the office but it might only be a myth.

Schulte · 23/03/2009 09:26

Grrrrrr. My neighbour's cat keeps trying to come into my house whenever the door is open and one day it will succeed.

BabyBolat · 23/03/2009 09:27

Which one Bronze (blonde or brown boss?)

Well I am working at home so thankfully there will be no delivery but I would like it this week so I can leave a little earlier!!

BabyBolat · 23/03/2009 09:29

Schultes be careful, we left our loft bedroom window open once and the neighbours cat came in wondered downstairs to the spare room and then Sh*t all over our BRAND NEW duvet!

Then destroyed our walls trying to get out! Of course have NO proof which one of the 11 bloody things it was! Maybe give it some of those berries [evil emoticon]

purplemonkeydishwasher · 23/03/2009 09:31

shall we start a pool? we can place bets on who will go last, biggest baby, etc? (though that'll probably be me for both!!)

bronze · 23/03/2009 09:34

dunno I'm in there for last and biggest too

actually babies seem to be bigger now than when I had my first (9lb 14) so I'll probably be beaten on that and I'm only allowed to go a week over so before the end of the month so I guess I'm out of the running.

brettgirl2 · 23/03/2009 09:35

I just want one of you to birth - we want another baby!!!! I'm sure BB's boss would cope and it would serve him right for his behaviour throughout her pregnancy.

Mine is definitely not that imminent, although my due date isn't until the 12th anyway. I think at the moment I am alternating between being slightly engaged and not being engaged at all. At MW appointment last week I was 4/5 engaged (as in she could feel 4/5 of head) but everything seems higher again. I had period pains/bh on Saturday night but nothing since.

The MW also asked if her student MW could use me for her university observation assessment at my next appointment - so I also took that to mean that she didn't think it was happening too soon either! (although I'm sure that it isn't that easy to predict)

Puzzle I'm impressed by your dedication. I ddoubt you'll have time to do the same once we've all popped haha.

purplemonkeydishwasher · 23/03/2009 09:36

actually that was the one thing i forgot to ask the consultant last week - how long will they let me go over? (i'm hoping for not very!!) i guess it's a good thing i get to see her again next week.

bronze · 23/03/2009 09:36

bb- couldnt work out what you mean then (it was Boff who said about at work). I'm hoping you'll not be at wok when things happe.n which boss would you prefer?

Schulte · 23/03/2009 09:36

The blonde one BB. Might get DH to shoot the cats.

OddEyes · 23/03/2009 09:37

bronze · 23/03/2009 09:38

I have a gun within 3 feet of me right now. Want to borrow it?

Juwesm · 23/03/2009 09:38

Morning all. No signs of labour here either . No show, no pains, BH just tightenings as they have been for months, no nesting, no unusual bowel action, nada. Now I've got the HB kit all here, I'm ready to evict now please, but I really feel like I'll be at least 1 week beyond due date if not 2. Am going to spend all day today on the bouncy ball trying to encourage LO to shift from 4/5 to 3/5 (or better!) in anticipation of MW tomorrow.

brettgirl2 · 23/03/2009 09:40

I have to confess to not being that keen on cats.

I have always found horses to be more sociable pets - they live in a stable 3 miles away, so don't shit in the neighbours' gardens, bark when we go out etc.

My money is on Juwes for the biggest baby

DungunGirl · 23/03/2009 09:46

HEllo ladies

I have dropped off mumsnet for the last 1-2 weeks...started maternity leave and just didn't want to look at the computer...ahhh bliss!

I take it everyone is well besides the usual aching hips, sore backs, huge boobs etc etc as the list goes on!

I had a scan last week - 36 weeks as the consultant and midwife thinks baby is going to be big. Luckily, he is looking big, but within 'normal ' big - so anything up to about 9 pounds 5 oz really. Scary thought though!
I also have excess amniotic fluid, which would explain why baby still is making occassional really big movements! They are watching me on that side of things as I have PCOS and it seems excess fluid happens in diabetic pregnancies...soooo another blood sugar test and another scan at 38 weeks for me!

Anyway, was wondering whether anyone else had popped early/yet...but will try and catch the next updated list when it comes round. That is IF I can find this thread! It is MADNESS how quickly new threads a needed.

Juwesm · 23/03/2009 09:51

Nooooooooo! I don't want the biggest baby (though I wouldn't be displeased if it is a little chubster )

BoffinMum · 23/03/2009 09:52

Gotta nest! Off to do errands with DD! Things to do, people to see, extraneous stuff to buy. Bye!!

bronze · 23/03/2009 09:53

someone make this nesting contagious please. I havent even fed the chickens yet

BabyBolat · 23/03/2009 09:58

lol bronze!!

B52s · 23/03/2009 10:02

Morning all
I have an urge to launder everything!
Had 'regular' BH last night - somewhat worrying as I've got 4 weeks to go yet.
But last week at work too!!! Same boat as GingerSarah and BB.

bronze · 23/03/2009 10:04

I'm getting close. I'm writing a list of what needs to be done. Sometime I might start doing the things on it
