oh I bet its the same one, if so I wont bid
brown

SpringySunshine · 22/03/2009 15:59

Oh, I know about meconium. But it doesn't really matter how absorbent your nappies are - that's always going to be disgusting. I just mean that their bladders are so tiny to begin with, & they do wee more than poo, that they won't be testing the nappies to full capacity straight away, I don't think?

BabyBolat · 22/03/2009 16:00

We bought one from the baby show but DH refuses to wear it because it is red and girly!!

BabyBolat · 22/03/2009 16:01

oh no, we are watching the charcoal one!! you go for your life with the brown one!! That was my thinking Springy they will get regular testing so will soon become absorbent!!

bronze · 22/03/2009 16:02

I was going to say theres a charcoal one too. I think I prefer brown though its one of my colours.

Juwesm · 22/03/2009 16:03

BB - Your DH refuses to wear a red nappy wrap???

bronze · 22/03/2009 16:03

I@m still umming though cos I'm thinking I might go for a wrap instead so I would have to get the close at bargain price to bother.

SpringySunshine · 22/03/2009 16:03

Yes - & you're not being lazy or anything like that. You're thinking of the environment

BabyBolat · 22/03/2009 16:03

Not nappy wrap - baby wrap! like baby sling!!! although funny funny image!!

bronze · 22/03/2009 16:03

Ju you just woken up?

Juwesm · 22/03/2009 16:04

Sling! Just worked it out! Doh!

Ditto - exact same problem - red sling, DH wants some nice manly Berghaus type rucksack one instead.

SpringySunshine · 22/03/2009 16:04

Ju, I hope you're not questioning BB's DH!

Juwesm · 22/03/2009 16:05

Uuuurrrrggghhhh!!

BabyBolat · 22/03/2009 16:06

I know - which is obviously my main reason!!!

How is the washing going? Our house looked like an launderette when we did all our bedding etc!

Juwesm · 22/03/2009 16:06

Bitty!!!

bronze · 22/03/2009 16:06

I have a framed rucksack too but they're not great until baby is a lot bigger.

BabyBolat · 22/03/2009 16:07

Springy ROFL I am crying - the likeness is uncanny!!!

SpringySunshine · 22/03/2009 16:07

I'm not quite so eco-friendly & may possibly be just bunging everything into the tumble dryer

Juwesm · 22/03/2009 16:07

Yes, BIL got us one of those rucksacks for Xmas. DH is dying to use it!

bronze · 22/03/2009 16:07

DO I want to look at that link?

I have done nothing but washing. I have worked out int he last week I have done over 20 loads. Not sure where the baby bedding is though but I've got time

SpringySunshine · 22/03/2009 16:07

I thought so I had to get really close to the screen to check that it wasn't actually him

BabyBolat · 22/03/2009 16:08

To be honest bronze the ones on ebay aren't going for much cheaper than normal priced ones so unless it is really cheap I will be either not bothering or waiting until baby's born to get a black one!

BabyBolat · 22/03/2009 16:09

That is why he gets so much attention in restaurants!!!

bronze · 22/03/2009 16:10

Is there a traditional babywearing method in Turkey?

BabyBolat · 22/03/2009 16:11

bronze I am sorry 20 loads - are you kidding - I did 2 this week and thought that was a lot!!!
