think dh is in trouble with mil. she just rang and of course he's out.

tristaleejac · 22/03/2009 11:23

Hiya, just caught up, see that you were looking for me bronze. Do you need me to text soon2be about something from ebay? Am I too late?

BabyBolat · 22/03/2009 11:26

I would like one please (but have to hide it from DH!!!)

LOL at super soaker!!!

I have now temporarily sealed the bathroom floor as an interim until the workmen come - and in the process have covered my entire hands and arms with sealant! I wish I was one of those people that managed to do DIY without decorating myself as well as the project!!!

Nutty bless your lovely DD!!

DH has now come home and has declared because I have done most of his jobs today he is making breakfast - yum - hope there is room after the lovely bacon sandwich

tristaleejac · 22/03/2009 11:28

Had a nice day yesterday we went to the beach. Was so tired when I got home though, so just sat and watched saturday night pish on the tv. Did anyone see Ant & Dec? Ant lost the battle they always have and he was so obviously fuming. It was so funny seeing him attempt to read his lines and put on a happy face. Every time he thought the camera wasn't on him his face said it all. Crazy, men are so crazy.

Springy - you're so funny waving your knickers around, showing them off. Hopefully things are starting to happen for you.

Sorry to hear Jade has died. I never really follow celebrity stuff it bores me, but I do feel very much for 2 little boys who didn't ask for any of this. My thoughts are with them.

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 22/03/2009 11:29

he will never know

BB decorating yourself is part of the fun with diy sealant is a particular pain though!

tristaleejac · 22/03/2009 11:31

BB I always get totally messy when doing any sort of DIY. I reckon the more covered in stuff you are, the harder you've worked
Plus it's like being a kid again!

SpringySunshine · 22/03/2009 11:33

Yes, Trista, I saw Ant & Dec! We were laughing so much He was genuinely angry. Especially when he was like 'I thought we'd get at least ONE vote ' I tried to tell DH that it was a testosterone thing & that women would never get like that, but he wasn't convinced. I'm glad you think that it's just a man thing too

BB, I think you may be nesting despite your claims to the contrary!

BabyBolat · 22/03/2009 11:34

I am one of those people that love doing DIY and having projects but in all honesty I am not very good at it and get very bored very easily if it is not going the way I want it too!!!!

bronze · 22/03/2009 11:34

tista dont worry about it

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 22/03/2009 11:35

Bronze - i just reminded dh to text/phone MIL his words were
"why should i",
me "you will get in trouble if you dont"
Him "i bought her a card which i'm gonna give to her tommorow i'm not phoning as well, today is your day!"

hahahahahahah

OP posts:
tristaleejac · 22/03/2009 11:36

well no of course we're not like that at all springy!

SpringySunshine · 22/03/2009 11:36

Nutty, your DH has it sorted

SpringySunshine · 22/03/2009 11:37

Trista, I don't know what you're talking about

SpringySunshine · 22/03/2009 11:37

Actually, in at least mine & Boff's defence, we are having boys - we have extra testosterone at the moment!

bronze · 22/03/2009 11:38

oh he sent her a card. I dont think shes mad cos of that but because hes buggered off and left me with the ill kids. My mil is fab and realises he can be a selfish arse sometimes

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 22/03/2009 11:38

I knew there was a reason i married him

OP posts:
tristaleejac · 22/03/2009 11:38

nope, must be another april bunch I'm thinking of

bronze · 22/03/2009 11:38

springy mines a boy too

SpringySunshine · 22/03/2009 11:41

bronze, where is it he's gone?

BabyBolat · 22/03/2009 11:42

Dh has phoned his mum (she was out and text mine) so he has good earned points!!

ROFL at your DH Nutty - he is very very funny!!! Soooo got his priorities right though!!

Oh I didn't see ant & Dec - fell asleep on DH while he was chuckling away to Total Wipeout - have sky+'d it for later tho!!

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 22/03/2009 11:45

Bronze - ah thats ok then, sounds like your mil is on your side

OP posts:
BabyBolat · 22/03/2009 11:45

Springy really I am not nesting I HATE not having things to do so I find myself jobs to pass the time until DH comes back or have something to do - it drives people crazy - as soon as I am up I like to plan my day and know what I am doing - to the point where I occasionally give myself time slots!! All this will change once LO comes along tho' and am trying to prepare myself for it!!

SpringySunshine · 22/03/2009 11:46

BB, make sure you watch it - it's fantastic. Even right at the end credits, he's still sulking

I've spoken to my mum this morning, but DH is yet to call his. I should probably remind him

BabyBolat · 22/03/2009 11:46

My MIL is likely to side with me but my mum will favour DH every time !!

bronze · 22/03/2009 11:47

I'm going to email my mum. Will find a nice picture to attach to the email
