Due Late June 2009 at St Mary's Hospital (Lindo Wing), Paddington

Hello Expecting Mums,

I've just joined Mumsnet and am desperate to meet a few other mums that might be due around this time or live close by (Bayswater / Notting Hill / Maida Vale / St Johns Wood to name just a few areas)

My husband and I are both Australian and we are currently living in Bayswater. We have quite a few friends over here, but unfortunately none of our friends are expecting. Given that this is our first baby, I'm keen to meet anyone else who might be going through this very exciting (and somewhat daunting) stage in their life.

We also need to register for antenatal classes and I'd be keen for any recommendations, particularly those around Notting Hill / Maida Vale / St Johns Wood as this is where we are looking to move. We had been putting this off until we found a more child-friendly flat, but have unfortunately had no luck as yet.

Wanted to say hi - I am not really in your area, though not too far away in Richmond, and am also keen to meet people in a similar situation.

Sue, I'd love to keep in contact. I'm finding it all quite daunting, particularly being away from family! Where are you having your baby? Have you started your antenatal classes yet?
