Hi all

Only joined this site today. My name is Amanda and I'm 33 years old. Am excited to be expecting my first baby in July. However, I don't know many people in the area and would love to get to know any ladies out there in the Bury St Edmunds area.

Just to hook up for the occasional coffee and natter.

Hi I am due baby no 4 in August and house hunting in woodbridge area of suffolk. - I don't know the area at all but i think they are miles apart!!! Aren't you in a sure start area tho? Whether you are or not, find out where your local baby weigh in clinic is held - they often combine the clinic with a playgroup with tea and cofee etc - that would be a good place to meet other mums to be - speak to your health visitor, you can get her number from your midwife...

Hi, I'm Cathy and I'm also expecting my first, at the end of July (27th) and am in Bury St Eds area, moved here last year. I'm with Abbey Midwives and have my appointments at the Self Centre on Kempson way. They do all sort up there and I was thinking of taking up pregnancy yoga when I go on leave. Dont know, but might be too much at 30wks

Kitkatqueen - sorry didnt realise that our names were similar, is that ok - am quite new to MN too but dont post a lot - I can change it if you want? Yes, I think you're right about the Sure Start stuff but I need to dig out some leaflets, as can't remember any details (not very organised).
