I find it hard to drink fruit tea as well, so I will get the capsules, will visit Holland & Barrett as soon as I venture out - can't be bothered to go out at the moment. The school and the midwife is my limit! But DH is off Friday so I might come out of hibernation!

KittyCatIsGettingFat · 11/03/2009 12:48

Yay Puzzle!! You rock...

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 11/03/2009 12:48

Suprise - i'm ordering them online no need to go out

surprisenumber3 · 11/03/2009 12:49

oh even better! It's scary out there on your own when you waddle

Oh, finally got some blood tests forms so will have to get those done later! First ones since 8 weeks!

AuldAlliance · 11/03/2009 12:50

His little acheivement has cheered me up no end! Kids are great for that (sometimes).

I have just remembered I have some RLT from Whittard's lurking in a cupboard. I suspect it's foul, so am glad I had already made some decaffeinated Earl Grey and really must drink that now. My labour was very quick last time (8 hrs from 1st contraction to birth), but am all in favour of anything that'll speed it up and help contractions this time.

Thanks Nutty!

I'm in my fluffy dressing gown and PJ bottoms... can't be bothered to get dressed just yet...

WhatFreshHellIsThis · 11/03/2009 12:59

I vote for the WFH vs BB one - obviously!

Midwife appt in a minute, update later.

Auld - well done to your DS! DS here correctly spotted his initial on a mug today, and I was being all proud, and then he said 'and that's an S, and that's a P, aren't they Mummy?'

I nearly fell off my birth ball.

Bleuravin · 11/03/2009 13:21

Having a hard time staying motivated today... Just spent an hour looking at the wall I was supposed to be painting... sigh ...I feel like going back to bed and starting the day over.

I'm not so worried about moving the baby itself..it's just all the packing and whatnot I'd have to do...and the organising...on little sleep and inbetween feedings. I know I can/could do it; I just know it will be super stressful...and then to have to undo the whole process in a foreign country... Perhaps it's best not to think about it today since my motivation is low any how...

AuldAlliance · 11/03/2009 13:33

When I said the baby was portable that was also a reference to the fact that a baby won't unpack the boxes or badger you throughout, distracting you as a toddler would.
You'll be tired and not overly efficient, but it's not impossible; I did our packing when DS was about 2 mths old, and if you can pace yourself while the baby is in a sling (do a bit here and there rather than huge long stints), then it should be OK.
Unpacking is similar: if you mark yr boxes cleverly, you can unpack urgent things first and then do the rest slowly. It means living amongst boxes for a bit, but to my mind that's the lesser of two evils compared with serious exhaustion!

surprisenumber3 · 11/03/2009 13:35

gosh I converted the grams to pounds wrong! (mw estimated just over 2700 g which is just about 6 lb!).

I'm too small for a big baby, hopefully she'll slow down soon!

Bleuravin · 11/03/2009 13:36

Good point. Organization is the key I suppose. Perhaps if there's enough money most of the stuff could go in storage or something. That would help on the otherside of things.

Bleuravin · 11/03/2009 13:41

surprise how far long are you again?

surprisenumber3 · 11/03/2009 13:43

34+5, my DS1 was born at this time exactly about was 4 lb 9 oz.
