BTW moving on from willy words and nappies, today's competition is for your suggestions for thread titles that will instantly make MNetters kick off in a dramatic fashion!!

Mine: "FORMULA APPRECIATION THREAD - come hither if you want to discuss the benefits of Nestle products vs Milupa".

The winner will get to post it up if she dares!!

LuLuBai · 18/02/2009 08:55

Boffin such mischief!

FASHION LOVERS - surely buying cheap clothes benefits the third world by keeping children in employment?

LuLuBai · 18/02/2009 09:04

OK - off out. Got to check out some cheap kitchen tiles (presumably with a mahoosive carbon footprint due to their hideous manufacturing methods and having been transported half way across the world before getting stuck to my walls).

Can't wait to get back and see the mischief and mayhem Boffin has managed to create in the morning.

bronze · 18/02/2009 09:26

Wish you hadn't started that thread. Its spread onto here and I know I for one now feel more uncomfortable. I can't speak for soon2be though.

BoffinMum · 18/02/2009 09:44

Ooo, sorry Bronze, I wasn't being entirely mischievous, I genuinely wanted to discuss that stuff, and also get away from the disposables guilt thing a bit.

Soon2be, we are inclusive on here and hope everyone's still friends. xx

PuzzleRocks · 18/02/2009 09:44

Bronze - You feel uncomfortable on here? I really hope not. I didn't read every post on there, I was in bed early last night, but i'm sure nobody here meant to make anyone feel bad and would be upset to think they did.

BoffinMum · 18/02/2009 09:48

Bronze - I was just getting a bit fed up of being forced to be 'on message' every time I ventured out of this thread or else being flamed. I wanted to make the point that it's important to have intelligent discussions about things and not just toe the MN party line. Do you want us to stop making up annoying thread titles??

BoffinMum · 18/02/2009 09:54

If it's any comfort Washasaurus is still going on disapprovingly and even I'm not having fun there any more, or getting any proper debate.

However I knew what I was doing so only have myself to blame.

Mw coming in a minute and we will hopefully discuss the codeine thing ... I will update with info for codeine takers later if you like.

PuzzleRocks · 18/02/2009 09:56

Lulu - Glad to see you defending the name Andrew on the baby names thread. Tis a wonderful name given to intelligent, sexy men who make fabulous fathers, but then i'm biased.

BabyBolat · 18/02/2009 09:57

Morning all

Bronze, don't feel bad or uncomfortable or Soon2be or anyone that posted last night (I was far too scared to post more than once!!)

I have been chatting on this thread for a long time now and know that no one takes things to heart even if things do get a bit heated!!! Life's too short to worry about different opinions! That's why we all love this thread as you can just forget what is going on elsewhere and just be nice to each other - I think the general comments on here were in relation to how nice and fluffy this thread and how it so quickly can change on other threads in the big wide MN world - not trying to criticise anyone!

I can't speak for everyone but am pretty sure the whole things has been forgotten now anyway and the general posts are all meant to be very tongue in cheek!

As you will see from Boff's earlier post she is just naughty! but that is why we love her - she keeps us entertained!!

Schulte · 18/02/2009 10:00

LOL LuLu! Go on, post it! Post it, I dare you!

BabyBolat · 18/02/2009 10:32

LuLu - honestly you will be FLAMED!!! you would be a much braver person that I would to do that!!

Anyway enough about other threads - what are we all up to today? I am at work but planning to leave early as am in lots and lots of pain again grrr and I am ridiculously annoyed with my bosses for various reasons so need to escape this office!!!

mathsmummy27 · 18/02/2009 10:35

Puzzle - I heartily agree re: Andrew

And Bleu, I emphathise re: BJs. DH just not that into it really. Shame.

Boff, I went to an all-girls convent boarding school....

I love the formula thread title. Go for it ( I love controversy though..one of my school reports in sixth form said 'controversial, provocative, and a downright minx') - I kid you not

KittyCatIsGettingFat · 18/02/2009 10:39

Puzzle and MathsMummy - I am ALSO partial to an Andrew of an evening!! How funny is that??

Off to read nappy thread now...

BabyBolat · 18/02/2009 10:44

OOh I have NEVER had a bit of Andrew!

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 18/02/2009 10:46

Mathsmummy i wanna know what bibbling is and i really need to use those words at some point!!!

LuLu - oooooooh you would be in trouble lol

Boffin- i'm going to get you a giant wooden spoon for your birthday

Bronze & Soon2Be - thats the beauty of MN though, whatever gets said elsewhere nothing is held as a grudge anywhere else and there are no bad feelings, especially here on this thread. Goodness please dont feel uncomfortable that is not the intention of any of us at all.

OP posts:
BabyBolat · 18/02/2009 10:54

Did I miss something - BIBBLING????

Schulte · 18/02/2009 10:57

Yes please can we have translations for those words mathsmummy... I can't really google them on my work PC!

PuzzleRocks · 18/02/2009 10:58

BB - Sorry you are in pain again. And sorry you have never had a bit of Andrew .
Looks like there's a few of us who agree on their awesomeness.

Claireykitten · 18/02/2009 10:58

Im glad its not just me that doesnt know what those words mean! I was starting to think I really had led far to sheltered and innocent a life to be posting on here but I see it has confused alot of us so I feel much better now!

Schulte · 18/02/2009 10:58

Apesemenjoy

PuzzleRocks · 18/02/2009 10:59

Yes, I think we do need clarificatiion on bibbling. Sounds like a sport.

Schulte · 18/02/2009 10:59

What you need is the Profanisaurus

PuzzleRocks · 18/02/2009 10:59

Ape semen joy? What on earth?

Schulte · 18/02/2009 11:02
