I did actually do a happy dance for real. Even five minutes off from this godawful condition is a blessing. I have had a further quick experimental walk, and he has clonked his head down again, so there's more pressure on the central bone area, but it's still not as bad as it was. I wonder what it will be like in the morning.

The point DH made was that if this can happen because of a bit of nookie, then I am likely to be one of the people who gets better quickly after the birth. This is the kind of thing I like to hear!!

I am off to refill my water glass DOWNSTAIRS to see what happens.

OK - full report of trip downstairs.
No hands needed on bannister whatsoever (normally I have to heave myself up).
Coccyx RHS twinges a bit, so clearly something is still not right, but frankly it is arguably just about within normal tolerance for late pg.
I am not expecting it to last, but as I say, considering how bad it has been for the last three days and more importantly all day today until now, this is amazing.

Not thought of trying a pillow for leg cramps - sounds a good idea! I know my mum always slept with extra pillows when preg, but I always just have the 1 under my head! lol

mrsfossil: Not sure I could stomach a banana at bedtime! I get enough heartburn at nights, so usually eat nothing after dinner! Occasionally a bowl of cereal, but usually regret it when I feel dead miserable within the hour!

BUDDY SYSTEM - Update

So far i have had 20 lots of details (including me).

although this is a fab number for me to work with we do have 49 on our list ....

if you want to have a buddy please please let me know asap. I will start dishing out details to buddies next tuesday (24th) which is a week from when this thread started. i would like to have the bulk of this sorted as we really are very close to dates now (and there is always a posibility of people birthing a bit early).

IMPORTANT i will not leave anyone out!!! if you send me your details after the 24th, that is fine, i will still organise a buddy for you.

Sorry, just after I posted DP and my brother turned up and we got distracted with Thai takeaway and beer (one San Miguel for me only, you'll be glad to hear) DS went to bed without waking up after conking out on the sofa, then fell out of bed later and was discovered fast asleep on the floor of his room.
