Have lovely lie ins

You wont be able to do any of these things for a while after the arrival!

There honestly wont be much preparation will there? And you dont need to leave everything to the 2 weeks before your due. If you put the cot up, prepare clothes etc before you go on mat leave then you can spend those 2 weeks or possibly 3 or 4 weeks chilling out!

I did a reasonable amount of batch cooking and put in the freezer so we had decent meals without worrying about shopping/cooking/washing up. I also made lots of flapjack/energy bars wtih fruit and nuts so I had something high energy that was more healthy than chocolate (though I had that too!) to munch on when breastfeeding.

Other that that I agree with the others, sleep, sit in cafes reading, see friends etc.

Ah! Some things I hadn't thought about there... (Esp the pelvic floor ex's!) plus the emphasis is on relaxation then - I like that! Thanks ladies.

Cinema is a great suggestion - also (if you can afford it) something nice for you (haircut, nails done, massage) as you wont get a chance for a while after the nipper arrives.I spent my 2 weeks cooking, seeing friends, doing antenatal yoga, having massages etc - was bliss...

This time round I have a pesky toddler to look after so no time to enjoy all the stuff I got to do last time round...
