ooh perhaps i can be the freaky one who shows everyone her nipples in our commune?

BoffinMum · 19/01/2009 20:31

Toxicology leaflet for Flash Multisurface Cleaner here:

MM, I think you will just get very clean insides, and possibly feel sick. It will be indistinguishable from pg. You only have to panic if you've really had a lot of it and you puke some blood. If you drink a pint of milk this is unlikely to happen.

frostyfrekkles · 19/01/2009 20:32

hey there auld, i did see your message and i emailed you? has it gone awol? i shall do it again if so. thank you muchly missus.

Swaliswan · 19/01/2009 20:32

Evening Ladies,

I'm still catching up but I have to say that I am loving the posh commune in Derbyshire. I could get my MIL to come and be our midwife as she lives in Derby. Has anyone decided yet which room would be a good one to put a birthing pool in?

BoffinMum · 19/01/2009 20:34

Frekkles, do you mean to say you have 8 nipples?

I think you should change your name to FrostyNipples now.

BoffinMum · 19/01/2009 20:34

We will install a permanent one in the spa wing, Swaliswan.

BabyBolat · 19/01/2009 20:35

MM don't panic - it's not like you drank lots so while you should get it checked out, I am sure it is OK

Brettgirl, it would be fine, I don't mind messy people as I quite like cleaning (i am a geek I know) I can maybe share the orange crunch ones (well I could think about it at least...)

Frekkles, blue nips (eek) how cold was it?!!!

Frekkles
I have just replied to your e-mail.
Told you I didn't check that address much .
Will wash nappies tomorrow and post them some time this week.

frostyfrekkles · 19/01/2009 20:45

i would change my nickname to frostynips but i can't remember what email address i used to sign up to hear with!

it was fucking freezing, wet snow and wind and muggins here got soaked to the skin as she can't afford to buy a winter maternity coat and is fronting the winter out in cardigans and ponchos

glowers at nutty and flicks screwed up green triangle wrappers in her hair

Swaliswan · 19/01/2009 20:46

MIL is very thorough and reassuring. She can be a bit forceful of her ideas on how to do certain things with me but I don't find it too hard to tell her 'no' and I'm not sure that she would be like that with people she doesn't know. If we could convince her friend to come as well then it would be great. Her friend always tells her to shut up if MIL is ever rude or out-of-line and doesn't realise that she is being offensive!

BabyBolat · 19/01/2009 20:49

Ooooh yess Nutty, I do like organising - DH always tells me off as I like to plan things (even chilled out time!) But I HATE being bored so like to have things to do!!!

OOooh yes I did - but without shouting, I sat down with them and told them how frustrated I was and how much work I had to do becuase they had let me down and they were pretty apologetic and kept offering to help lots today which is an improvement - let's hope it lasts! Turns out that they had done more than originally thought but attached the wrong documents which led to another discussion about attention to detail and duplication of work and waste of billable time!!! We have a horrible day at work tomorrow to prepare for Wednesday's meeting but hopefully things will calm down a bit after that and I can start to take a step back from things.

Another one tomorrow although she is a bit prickly so may be more difficult (very defensive about things but she did quite majorly feck up so has to be sorted!)

PuzzleRocks · 19/01/2009 20:55

OMG I can't step away for five minutes. Another billion posts to catch up with.
Evening all.
Frekkles - I agree with what your friend says to some extent but don't really relate it to the core thngs that make you who you are. I am still the same person with the same desires and interests but certain elements of my life have become less important to me and I have discovered new skills and facets of my persoinality. One thing I certainly noticed was that true friends really shone through. FWIW I liked my life before and had the same fears but I like my life and I like myself better now. I'm rambling aren't I? I'll shut up now. I'll just say that nothing has to drastcally change if you don't want it to, you may just need to be a bit more organised than you would have been in the past.

Swaliswan - How are you feeling today? Glad everything was ok.

BoffinMum- That sounded like a lovely day yesterday, i'm glad you are feeling a bit better.

Kittycat - I hope you managed to get things cleared up. You really don't need all that hassle right now. Nutella is wonderful isn't it! Ooh just read a more recent post. Hooray for your husband. You must be relieved.

Mathsmummy - Sending you well wishes

B52's - good to hear from you.

Boffin - Love the commune idea but your contributions don't leave much for the rest of us to do. I can live with that. I offer you my accountancy skills, very tasty vanilla fudge and cottage pie, and an extensive knowledge of sharks and serial killers. DH's greatest skill is something I am not prepared to share though .

Ooh just remembered I can give kickboxing classes too. I'm a bit of a ninja .

Spring - That cake just looks too damn good. Don't you know i've been told to lay off chocolate, you cruel cruel tease.

Nutty - Bless you daughter, that made me feel a bit emotional. She sounds like such a sweetheart.

Schulte - It would be great for DD (20mths) to have a similarly crazy dancing partner.

BB, Brettgirl - I love the orange crunchy ones. I suggest we arm wrestle for them. I'm a pretty mean arm wrestler. Small but powerful, rather like Bruce Lee.

BB - I'm a planner an a list writer too. DH is the same. I'm ridiculously organized and have an unhealthy obsession with stationery.

Okay PuzzleRocks share your secret! How do you manage to reply to pretty much everything everyone has said in the last 500 posts? Do you make notes while you read MN? I am intrigued!

I also thought a bit more about the commune thing and it seems I have not a single skill that would be useful for commune life... really how did I manage to get halfway through my life without learning anything useful? DH even had to iron my shirt earlier because I am rubbish at it I have a physics degree but by the time the DCs will need help with their homework I will have forgotten all of that, too!

Mathsmummy how are you feeling?

PuzzleRocks · 19/01/2009 21:04

I read each post and use a second window to write my replies one by one. I do a refresh of the first window to catch any new posts before posting my responses in the second window. I sound really anal don't I?

Puzzle you do

PuzzleRocks · 19/01/2009 21:09

Will do Nutty, then you can really give your MIL what for. [grn]

Right lovelies, today I have attended DD's mini-P's class where I leapt about in a most undignified and bloody uncomfortable fashion, done the weekly shop, cleaned my house from top to bottom, filled ini my tax return, and made a massive dish of macaroni cheese with ham and tomato (yum). Time for bed. Good night.
