5 weeks pg, period like pains

I can't remember if this is normal from other pregnacies. I have a period like pain in lower abdo at 5 weeks. Any reassurance?

Oooh, very normal indeed. It's like implantation pains, your womb stretching, hormones. I have had it very crampy with my 3 babies.

no blood. HOw long is normal do you knnow oh wise one!!

I remember these. It is just stretching. Quite painfull though.

I remeber jsut from my experience i felt 'normal' and stopped worrying about them at about 7 weeks get some rest in

I had that a lot this time (second pregnancy) and was really worried but doc said it was just everything stretching and it settled down towards the end of the first trimester. Try not to worry.

Thanks alot everyone. This is 3rd pg so maybe everything is 10 x worse. Will try and relax a bit x
