Some of you may know this already, but I had no idea! Just read my pregnancy and birth magazine and found out that all mums (regardless of income etc) can claim a one off payment of £190. All you need to do is pick up a form from your midwife and get her to sign it once you are 25 weeks pregnant.

I am making plans as to how I will be spending mine!! Think I deserve a treat!!

Hope this helps!

Thank you for posting this. I'm due 25th April. I am 24 weeks pregnant.

What happens if your baby is born premature? (Ie. if my bump comes in March)

sausagenmash · 05/01/2009 18:22

I reckon it would be ok - check with your GP / midwife

Hi

Def just your EDD, I am due on 5th and have been told that I won't get it even if baby is born on 6th . Oh well!!

mumblemumhome4lunch · 12/01/2009 23:30

didn't know this.........due on 12th. Interestingly not been told by my midwife or seen anything in my Bounty pack - always found the tax office to be a bit like that, tell you if you owe money but not if you are entitled to claim any back !!
