Silver Cross 3D.....

I really, really want the Becar Ip Op in Chilli - however it's so expensive. My local nursery shop have said they will do it for a 'bargain' £500 which is the puschair, carrycot, raincover and bag - but i need to buy the footmuff seperately if i need it.

Also we need the maxi cosi car seat and the base just over another £200 so that is

£700 all together.

Babies r Us have the Silver Cross 3D for just under £300 at the moment, and i actually quite like the look of it - not sure the car seat will fit our vehicle (L200 Warrior) as it has narrowish seats in the back...but it's still a saving of £200

Does anyone have one of these??

I have a silver cross 3D with the ventura car seat and am still using the pram/pushchair part for DD who is 13.5mo. I still also use the car seat as DD is only 10kg and can be used up to 13kg.
I really like it and it is a lovely pram/pushchair to push and use. It is one of the best things we ever got for DD and I would deffo recommend it.

A friend of mine has this and as said is so heavy, 9both pram and the car seat) on that point alone i wont get it but i do like look of it.

this may be far too late, but DON'T buy it! I had the 3d for DD1 (expecting 2nd any day) and found it really heavy to push, the hood was forever falling down when in pram mode and the brakes are useless.

I now have a phil and teds sport and wish I had bought it first time round as it is sooo much easier to push and seems to be much better quality.

We live in a town with country walks, beach and cobbled streets so it was not a well thought out choice and seems as the in laws bought it for us felt like I had to use the bloody thing until I got an excuse not too!
