Braxton Hicks contractions

Hi there,
Can any of you remember how early in your pregnancy you had Braxton Hicks contrations? I am 24 weeks pregnant at the moment and have had loads last night and today to the point where my tummy and back ache (not badly but still noticably). I cannot remember when I had them with my first pregnacy, although I know they were a feature I am sure it was alot later on. Do you think I should be concerned at all?
Thanks
Clare

No, I've had them from at least that stage this time and was very aware of them last time as well. Last baby 8 days late. Don't you have then all the way through, just become more conscious of them as you get bigger?

Thanks Tinker. I wasn't overly worried but you have helped to set my mind at rest. I guess the muscles realise how much work they have ahead of them having not been used properly by me for a while hee hee.

Every day since week 20 as I remember (now 31 wks). First baby. Thank goodness that they have not been painful.

Hiya Clare,

I've had them on and off for quite a while (this is my second pregnancy) and I'm 24 weeks too. Most of the time they aren't painful but sometimes they are definitely uncomfortable. I get them if I'm desperate for a wee (sorry you probably didn't want to know that). I don't remember getting them first time round.

Thanks for the further messages ladies.
Mrs Wednesday I hope to catch up with you on the June thread!! I am still getting them quite regularly so I guess it is just one of those things this time around.

I'm 23 weeks with second baby and have been experiencing Braxtons too. Didn't with the first though. Weird, eh?

I started having them about 16 weeks this time around (2nd pregnancy).
