Late scans- handheld monitors?

Hello
I am 36 weeks now and this baby has been breech but they think it's turned. I know feeling from the outside is not an exact science and as i have a check up in just over a week at the hospital with the Doc, i was gonna BEG him to give me a quick scan ad re assure me that baby is head down.
Is this with a little hand held monitor? (I was told something about that by a lady at ante-natal class), as then there's obviously more chance he'll just do it.
Do you think he will??????/

hi angeliz

to me you sound like a very persuasive person, so i imagine he will, and its for a particular reason!

some of them have a little hand held monitor, my dr had one that was like a little laptop. if he says he doesnt have it to hand, tell him to go and get it!

i hope you get good results x

Mr Diege here. The boy has landed, last night at 1934. I got my way, he's called Apollo Bear Diege, 7lb 12oz or 3.3kg for our continental friends. She's Ok, bearing up with no sleep on a stained mattress in a corridor with the other wounded passing fags around, and their bloodied recent issue screaming for morphine (poetic licence, our PCT have done well). The lad put up desperate, heroic resistance before joining us on the treadmill, she had the upper hand from 11am until taking an epidural at 1600, but by 1700 she wasn't progressing very well, he was well dug in on the port side and needed a hand job to get turned then came out face up with forceps. He's not too damaged, just a bit bruised on his cheekbone, but sleeps a lot, contented he gave his best. He's on the bottle and fed well. Diege needs another check tomorrow before she's allowed home. I know how much she gains from your love and support, thank you so much, I'm useless.

I'm only joking about his name, it's Samuel, with another name maybe to follow.

Forgive me for taking so long to post, it's been a full sort of 24 hours, the other 4 have been lively, my mobility is reduced with sciatica and I had a water leak to defeat in the bathroom with our toddler on my back. Sorry if you read this post twice, I'm also putting it on the 'domestic plumbing' thread.
