Hey so I have 3 children and all my labours I've hemorrhaged and lost 2 liters of blood . I'm wanting another baby but I'm scared my bleeding will be worse with a 4th baby . The bleeding is because I get low platelets in pregnancy.
Anyone else had low platelets and hemorrhaged ? Got worse with each baby ? Or better ?
My first I hemeraged lost 2 liters but didn't need any transfer
2nd I hemeraged a bit more then 2 liters and had to have platelets
3rd hemeraged 2 liters but needed 2 bags of blood and platelets as my blood count was taking awhile to go up after labour .
I think I hemerage alot because my placenta has trouble coming out and my uterites has trouble contracting afterwards x

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Sorry I have no experience, but can you ask your GP? RCOG says that "If you have had a birth that was complicated by a primary PPH, there is an increased risk of PPH in future births." But it doesn't quantify what the increase in risk is.
