Starting off with I’ve already been to the doctors today and I asked what it could be and she said erm…. I’m not sure maybe a bit of the incision coming out of the hole from the inside lets first say her answer hasn’t filled me with the greatest confidence 😂 anyway bit of a back story I had my 3rd c section 4 weeks ago while I was open I was also sterilised, 7 days after my incision was smelling and oozing I went into triage and they swabbed it and prescribed me coamoxiclav antibiotics for 7 days and told me if within 48 hours I didn’t see and improvement to go back.. 48 hours later the oozing was still there and also the smell they advised me that my first swab didn’t grow anything but they would swab me again and to continue taking the antibiotics, 48 hours later they rang me and told me I was in fact on the wrong antibiotics my second swab grew some bacteria but it wasn’t the worst infection I could get so metro something or other antibiotics was prescribed, fast forward to this Monday just gone I had finished my antibiotics and had a final appointment with my midwife to check my wound she looked at it and said it looked lovely and looked to be healing the way it should be. So I take daily showers to clean my wound and as I looked In the mirror I saw the little red lump you see in the pictures but it was still inside the hole that had come open because of my infection, each day I checked and it looked to be moving closer to the front of the hole and day by day more and more of the flesh like lump as come out, and the picture I have attached was taken today. It’s also worth mentioning I was cleaning it today and right where the little lump is it did bleed not a massive amount but it was on my cotton pad I was using, I wouldn’t say it hurts massively I would say it’s more sensitive than painful, also no pain surrounding it, it’s not hard when touched it’s more squishy than hard. As you can see from The pictures the rest of the incision is closed and well healed. I know you ain’t doctors and I know it can’t be diagnosed on here but any information would be massively appreciated, before I fall Into the deep dark web of google 😂 I have tried googling it but nothing is coming up so thought I’d ask You guys if anyone can share any experiences.
