Hi everyone
just looking for some reassuring 2nd induction stories.
i was contracting for 24 hours before having the hormone drip with my first which ended in 12 hours on drip, took to theatre, been cut forceps used and me haemorrhaging.
when it was all over I didn’t think it was a bad birth nor do I think it was bad now.
people say it’s sounds like a awful birth.

think second time round might be nicer haha?
any words of reassurance or support would be great!

I had the same (word for word!) for my first delivery and feel fine about it.

My second birth was also forceps, but I gather this is quite unusual. It also took 12 hours but he was further descended so they could do it quickly in the room rather than going to theatre.

Not trying to worry you, again it wasn’t a bad birth mentally to me, but all I had read before was about second births being much easier/faster/natural. However those stories are very mainly where only one or none of the deliveries were inductions, I recall it was hard to find second induction stories.

Good luck!

@Rainbowsponge
did you get an epidural the second time?
I think I’m more nervy about not been able to have an epidural
Thank you xx
