41weeks -should I induce?

I am 41 weeks today with my third. I have been told by my midwives that my trust now recommends induction at 41 weeks. Baby number 1 born at 42+2 after a long and painful induction. Baby number 2 born at 41+5 , naturally (after a sweep) lovely birth experience. I am really keen to repeat my second birth and give my body as long as reasonable to go naturally. But obviously also don’t want to wait and end up being induced anyway and risk being away from my children over Christmas. What would you do?

baby very healthy, lots of movement, low risk pregnancy. I would never normally go against medical advise but feel strongly that in the same way some womens cycleslast 28-35 days, some women just carry longer pregnancies and that is perfectly fine and healthy for them.

Personally I’d not want to be delivering at Xmas, I’d be looking to get induced this week.

We are thinking of arranging induction for Wednesday and give my body a few extra days to go on its own 😅😅😅 but yea trying to figure out how long I can wait before I’m risking staying in over Christmas. With first I was I for 5 days, second arrived half an hour after arriving at hospital and home within 5 hours
