Bloody headache still here from yesterday but not as bad this evening. Planning on an early night as am knackered from last night's poor night sleep. Head was pounding and a bit anxious, then ds had a nightmare about a blob of green slime which landed on his head, so he came into our bed coz he was scared .

Thanks for the info petitfilou. Will pass it on to DSis. She's in Earlsfield and is erring towards St George's as she's been there before. Worried about parking for C&W, but said Kingston is looking good as it's so easy to get to on the train. At this stage I didn't think it would be helpful to share my visions of her in labour on the train, even if it is the fastest way through the traffic!

Sorry to hear about the migraine Buckets. I can sympathise...

We decided not to attempt a holiday this year as although we managed a holiday of a lifetime when I was pg with DD, we only went through with it because it was booked (and paid for!) before I knew about being pg. This time we've gone the absolute opposite way and we're going to house-sit for my Mum! It' 500 miles away though so hopefully far enough away to feel like a break and maybe even catch sight of the sun!

Congrats to your lil sis Poppysocks - how fab that your lo's will be close in age too. There's 18 months between my ds and my sisters dd but they adore each other.

Buckets - empathising with your headache and am thankful mine is not a migraine. Poor you. Praying you have no repeats of that (praying too that my headache goes).

We're off to Florida in May!! WIll be 26 weeks when we go. My insurance is through my bank, they insure me up to 32 weeks pg (assuming no pg complications). I'm soooo excited. Airline just want a letter from GP, dated within one week of outbound travel, that the pg has been problem free.

Thanks for all your advice. I did plan on asking the doctors what they thought. If they advised against it there is no way I would go. I know I was just saying it's only a 2 hour flight but that was my way of trying to take my mind off the fact that it would be terrible to be abroad and something happen.

I am just really keeping my fingers crossed that everything goes a bit more smoothly this time. The problem with pre eclampsia is there is no reason why anybody gets it, and no way to prevent it as far as I am aware. But if anybody can proove me wrong on that I would be glad.

CC yes was this morning thank you. went fine and have a slight reprieve, don't need one in two weeks unless more bleeding so not another one till 28wks - am apparently 20+4 but mw didn't fill me with confidence to be honest. consultant was very nice and explained a lot to me whic was good of him

very of your lovely holiday, dd1 is desperate to go to disneyland, its a shame but it's nowhere near the top of the list of affordables lol

FL - it's great, isn't it everytime I feel it though DH is at work, or too slow! Last time I remember first feeling it in the middle of a college class, was really nice to sit there having no one know about it and baby was fluttering away

I know am beginning to accept it a bit more, with everything that has happened I've been trying not to become too attached but its hard when you see it on the screen every few weeks and feeling movements. I only have 4 more weeks until its viable and then will completely relax. He also told me that I don't have to make any decisions re labouring until much much later which is a relief.

I keep thinking 4 1/2 months is 1/2 way, so 18 weeks (if I did a 4 week month) then I think err, no, 20 weeks is half way! I told DH I was half way a while ago, he will think I am stuck at half way!

have just updated scan date as have to phone community mw for appt tomorrow

have also noticed that mw at hosp has made a date for scan when I'll be 29+4wks so will have to phone them back in the morning as he was very definate about it being 28 and 34 - knew I wasn't overly impressed with her

So glad all went well today Dizzy. Did you get to find out gender, or are you keeping it as a surprise?

I went to Ninewells last time, but decided to try things in the other direction this time so it's Forth Park. Who knows whether it'll be any better for me, but so far so good and always a shot!
