Hey! I'm due #4 (#3 for DF) in Feb 2023. I've just got my BFP. This will be our only child together, and our last. I'm super excited to be here and would love to talk to other mamas at a similar stage.

My EDD based on LMP is 27th Feb, however 2 of my 3 children were overdue and so I'm expecting that will be the case this time.

Welcome :))

Awwwwww courgette that's so lovely! Did they put you back a few days then? I suppose it doesn't matter too much till your dating scan because that's the one you'll follow. What did bubba look like at that scan?

I've got my scan in 10 days when I'll be 7+2. My boobs are growing! Which is nice because they literally have never grown in any pregnancy before. Symptoms are starting now I'm 5+6. No sickness, but tired, sore boobs and they're growing. Also weeing a lot. I'll feel a lot better at my scan though :) I just wanna see that heart beat.

How's everyone else doing? It's so hard not telling everyone! X

Went for an early scan yesterday because of some spotting, measuring a week behind what I worked out, so now 4w+6 rather than 5w+6, but the midwife could see the gestational sac with the yolk sac, midwife said it still lined up with my dates seeing as I have no idea when I ovulated.
Trying to stay cautiously positive as finding it was a week behind was a bit unnerving. Must have managed to get a positive test on the very first day I could given that I’ve known I was pregnant for the last two weeks at this point 🤷‍♀️

GoT1904 · 03/07/2022 19:48

Happy pie, I had something similar with my son. I'm sure I worked it out that it would have been actually impossible to have got a BFP when I did. However at my dating scan, they only put me back a few days, rather than however many they did at my very early scan. I know it's easier said than done but I wouldn't put too much stock in that atm. Can you book another scan for a week or so? X

Thanks for the reassurance. I know my friends baby was sort of similar at what would have been 8 weeks she measured 1 week behind but by 12 weeks she was ahead. So I get that they have spurts. I just know the exact date we had sex so I feel like there’s only really 5 days of extra play in it 😣
They booked me in for the 18th to check again so would be around 7w on new measurement.
Longest two weeks of my life incoming unless any other bleeds happen.

Morning ladies

@Nutellafromthejar Did you get your 3+ at the weekend?

@GoT1904 I agree it's so difficult not being able to tell people! I'm so glad I found this forum this time round - I feel like I can talk about what I'm going through with people who are all going thru the same thing which makes it easier and a little quicker actually! 🙂
It's so good that you're starting to get more symptoms - I think I'm still wondering if the fatigue is preggo symptoms or I'm just knackered lol. I'm getting a lot of twinges though which is worrying me more than anything but no severe cramping or red bleeding so holding onto that as a good thing for now 🤞🏼

@HappyPie82 Hope you're feeling better today. I know this can all be worrying but with the midwife seeing what the sac and yolk, its promising 🙂 and the dating this early is so up and down. I hope the next few weeks until the scan goes quick for you x

Morning!!
I’m keeping everything crossed and trying not to Google too much!

The fatigue is killer isn’t it! I’ve felt like I could just close my eyes for a 10min nap all weekend. Just got to work and honestly could just sleep in my car!!
5 days to the weekend 😅

Nutellafromthejar · 04/07/2022 10:13

@HappyPie82 I’ve got everything crossed for you. Totally agree time seems to slow down when you’re pregnant!

@Fiveguysburgerandfries I did get my 3+ at the weekend. Suspect it will have been showing from mid last week but didn’t want to waste my last test.

I told my parents at the weekend, my mum started crying and my dad just said well done 😂 which was hilarious but he means well.

My booking in appointment came through but DH can’t make it. Looking at the list of tests they’re going to do it doesn’t look like a big deal if he misses it. Did/are your partners attending the booking in appointment?

Raex · 04/07/2022 20:03

Hi ladies 😊 I’m 6 weeks today. Still not feeling much… I thought I was feeling a little queasy this morning, but then I overthink it and tell myself I’m making it up 🤣 Looking into anything for a little bit of reassurance! How are you all feeling so far? What’s your symptoms? I hope you’re all good! X

Katrinamama · 05/07/2022 09:59

Hey everyone!

I went for an early reassurance scan on Sunday at 6+4 which confirmed the single pregnancy and heartbeat. They put me back to 6+2 which makes my due date 24th February 2023 😃This is my first baby at 33yo so just wanted to join the group to say 'Hi' and meet some other mamas in my situation 💗

Hope you're all ok and nice to meet you!
Katrina

Fiveguysburgerandfries · 05/07/2022 11:50

Hi @Katrinamama 🙂
So exciting! It's so lovely you got to see/hear the heartbeat at this point - so reassuring 🥰

@Nutellafromthejar my booking appointment last year was just a tonne of questions over the phone about medical history, partners details etc and then I had bloods done at a separate appointment. I've just had my booking app letter in for a face to face on the 25th - my husband wants to come but don't think it's necessary tbh so it won't be a big deal if your husband misses this one!

Hi @Raex ! 6+1 too! It's going so slow haha
Not too many symptoms - tired and cramping every so often. I also keep thinking I feel sick but then duno if I'm just hoping for some morning sickness like my last pregnancy LOL. Are you having an early scan or not bothering? I'm counting down until my early scan on the 22nd!

Loulou0001 · 05/07/2022 12:13

Hi all!
I am 6 weeks and 3 days.. I tested 3+ weeks on Sunday.

Congratulations on all your lovely news too!

I must admit I am rather nervous as i don’t have any symptoms apart from growing breasts. I had a MC in February (first time pregnant) and have no children.
Unsure whether to do an early scan or not, but I have just signed up with the local GP and apparently they will contact between 8-10 weeks.
trying to stay calm, rest a lot and distract myself 😅

Ellswells3 · 05/07/2022 16:03

Hi all, I went for an early scan today at EPAU as I needed to see the consultant for an underlying condition that affects pregnancy. They scanned me which I was expecting. According to LMP I should be 6+1 and they expected to see a heartbeat which unfortunately they couldn’t as the baby was a lot smaller than they expected to see, however the pregnancy sac did measure accurately for 6 weeks. I have been given a leaflet about ‘unconfirmed viability’ and I’ve been booked in for another scan next week. I feel heartbroken. I feel in my gut that something is wrong, I did have food aversion and sore boobs but I have zero symptoms now. My dates are accurate as I have very regular periods and with the sac measuring accurately for 6 weeks I just wonder why the baby isn’t.
I’m sorry to offload like this, I feel so alone as I haven’t told anyone about the pregnancy except my DH and Mum. The doctor said it could just be too early and that my dates are wrong but she did then say the sac does measure 6 weeks.
A week feels such a long time to wait to find out, I guess unless I have bleeding sooner.

Hope everyone is doing ok.

I’ve got everything crossed for you. I know the wait will be horrible. I’m getting through it by saying to myself every morning until I know otherwise it will be ok!
Sending you a massive hug

Ellswells3 · 05/07/2022 17:39

Sorry @HappyPie82 I had missed your message that you are going through similar. That is a helpful thought process and definitely more positive than my current mindset. The reality is until next week I won’t know, and if they hadn’t had scanned me today I likely wouldn’t have had any worries!!

Nutellafromthejar · 05/07/2022 18:22

@Ellswells3 @HappyPie82 sorry to hear you’re both going through this. I’ve got everything crossed for your next scans xx

Nutellafromthejar · 05/07/2022 18:31

@Raex @Katrinamama welcome to the board.

@Raex i’m not experiencing any symptoms yet apart from fatigue. I feel exactly the same as you though constantly looking for symptoms.

@Katrinamama this is my first baby too. Still feels a bit surreal but I’ve had great advice from more experienced mums on this board which has helped so much!

@Fiveguysburgerandfries thats helpful to know re booking in appt. Mines Saturday 16th and DH is away in a stag do. He’s offered to not go to the stag but I thought that was a bit OTT. I’ll send him on his way and enjoy a weekend of peace and quiet!

Nutellafromthejar · 05/07/2022 18:35

We had our early scan today. They put me back 2 days to 6+1 but still EDD of 27th Feb which has confused me slightly. But I know it’s still so early and could change again by 12 weeks.

We saw the heartbeat and they said everything so far looks good so I’ll take that.

I was not prepared for the amount of pressure they put on a very full bladder tho!

Fiveguysburgerandfries · 05/07/2022 19:31

Fingers crossed for you both 🤞🏼🤞🏼 @Ellswells3 @HappyPie82 It's great that you are staying so positive 🙂

@Nutellafromthejar I'm 6+1 and edd 27th Feb so think that's right?! Really good to hear that you saw the little heartbeat today!

Hi @Loulou0001 stay calm, rest and distract - amazing advice! Congratulations on your bfp! I'm still waiting to do my last digi this week - I want the 3+!

Ladies- feel free to offload on here whenever you need - it's so helpful to be able to talk to other people going through the same thing. This is helping me so much you guys have no idea - and it's actually making it go a little quicker! Counting down till my early scan 🙃 xx

CourgetteAndCrisps · 07/07/2022 17:11

@HappyPie82 @Ellswells3 keeping everything crossed for you guys. Hopefully it just means they’re closer to five than six weeks and next week you’ll see a heartbeat.

I went for an early scan and was put back a couple of days too. I expect the date will change again at 12 weeks - so not holding onto dates too much right now.

Fiveguysburgerandfries · 08/07/2022 07:43

Morning ladies,

6+4 today and finally got my 3+ - suspect I would have had it a few days ago but wanted to wait a week since the last test to be sure!

Still not too many symptoms - tired & waves of nausea now and again but otherwise feeling normal.

Hope you're all ok 🥰

I think unfortunately for me I maybe be miscarrying. I started spotting again yesterday evening. I thought it was stopping but it seems heavier this morning and I can’t tell if it’s brown or red. EPU have told me to keep an eye on it but sadly I think this is probably the end of the journey for me.
I am so devastated. Although it came as a complete surprise this was a very much wanted baby.

GoT1904 · 08/07/2022 11:52

Oh happypie I am so very sorry. :( I can only imagine how devastated you are. How are you feeling currently? I wish I had better words xxx

@HappyPie82 keep an eye on it like they said but there's still hope ✨ Bleeding can happen during pregnancy and is more common than we think. Fingers crossed for you 🤞🏼💕

Katrinamama · 08/07/2022 12:11

I'm so sorry @HappyPie82. I've got fingers and toes crossed for you xx

Oh @HappyPie82 that sounds very hard. Take photos if you can, that can help track it more accurately. We’re here to support you in any way we can. Xx
