Clomid please help

Hi Its my first time on mumsnet, I am writting for all your experience and opinions on clomid. I have been ttc for 10months now, a blood test was taken and revealed I havent ovulated, I have been prescribed 100mg clomid this is my 1st cycle using it on days 5-9. I just want to no how you found clomid worked or didnt?

I was prescribed clomid after been (finally) diagnosed with PCOS. I took it on days 2-6 i think and concieved our ds after 4 cycles of it, He's now nearly 23 month old. Good luck

hi ya primrose i also am taking clomid for the first time blood tests showed i was not ovulating i am taking 50mg day 1 - 5 have you had any side effects ?
i will be goiung on the 11th for blood tests and 23rd is the day i do my test so i will keep you informed if you want!!

I had Clomid 100mg twice for PCOS and took it both times on days 2-6. With my first try I had scans to check I was ovulating and when (which was a godsend), first attempt we were successful and she is now 4. Second try took 6 months but worked in the end - he's now 2.

I have a few friends that have had similar experiences but everyone is different. The main thing we all feel is.......Keep positive!!

Just joined today!!!! I'm on my second cycle of clomid and have forgotton/missed day 4 which was Sunday!!!!

I have taken my 2 tablets for today but dont know weather i should take Sundays tommorrow!!!!

I have called my Doctor so hopefully he will get back to me a.s.a.p. as i am really worried and upset with myself for forgetting, how stupid especially when its so important to me!!!!! Any advise ladies???????

newbie today!!!
I have pcos and have been ttc for about 7yrs and no bundle of joy for me.(sad)
I have had pcos for about 10yrs amybe more but only now have found out alot more about it thanks to the web
i have had a failed ivf attempt
I had a laparospy last year which they did a dye test and everything if fine. I have been to the dr's today and they are going to start me on clomid........
I have read success stories and i hope it is the same for me.
The dr didn't really go into it in depth i have so many unanswered questions.
I have just finished my period so i will start next period, i am due to go on holiday so do i start it when i come back?
How many days do i take it for?
does it make your periods heavy?
Gosh it's so crazy.
There i think i am dun now................
