I had pains similar to this at about 7 months. Turns out they were caused by a UTI.

Try not to worry, but you should see a midwife/doctor

Hi readinginbed, I am 34 weeks with no.3 I have had strong BH since about 25 weeks, quite painful and regular sometimes. It is normal especially the more babies we have (I had loads with DS2). If you are worried I would check it out and speak to your midwife/labour ward but maybe try a warm bath or resting. If they go away, then it is not labour. Hugs to you x

I agree that you need to be checked. I thought I was going in to prem labour at about 19 weeks and it turned out I had a UTI.

You need to get checked out, it could be nothing and strong bh but its worth getting checked out. A girl in my antenatal class actually went into labour in the middle of the class and she was 32 weeks the little girl was fine and amazingly didnt even need help with oxgyen. Hope all ok

thanks for all your messages just back from being in hospital for 2 days, they think it could be a UTI as contractions stopped for 12 hours. Back home and they are coming again and i reall dont' want to have to go back on to ward felt like being in prison
Will have warm bath and cross my legs
