Niggles and Braxton hicks at 37 weeks

Hi Guys,

I'm on baby number 3, so this whole labour experience is not overly new to me.
But I'm 37 weeks today, have a little extra fluid around baby than normal and have been told to expect to perhaps go into labour slightly earlier.
Had a clary sage bath tonight after a nice long walk, hopped into bed and almost immediately started to experience braxton hicks with cramping right down low like period pain. Mild to begin with but nippy enough when they are in force.
Trying not to get my hopes up - but I'd love to hear from you if you went into labour earlier than you thought and how you felt at the very beginning?
