We've had a real struggle getting this far so super anxious.

How many weeks are you? How are you doing?

Hey, due 02/08/21, how is everyone feeling?
I felt really sad/anxious going to the hospital and being told my partner couldn’t come in with me but I think I will be OK long term

Due 20th, booking appt next week with MW luckily face to face. Then impatiently waiting for 12w scan

The scan wait does seem like a lifetime away. We’ve booked a private scan so my partner can also attend

Has anyone had their booking in appointment? I'm 10ws and still not heard anything yet...I wonder if they have forgotten about me 🧐

I'm going in for an early scan tomorrow due to my history of losses and the panic has set in. I'm finding it difficult to be positive.

I had mine at the beginning of Jan, I completed the self referral online. I’d definitely chase it up.

I was told on the first appointment that my partner couldn’t be present during the 1st scan so we have booked a private scan too q few days before my scan at the hospital, just so he can be there.

midwife appointments week after next. We have booked a reassurance scan for tomorrow evening. Very excited but so nervous about every twinge!

I’m due first week of August! Got my booking appointment this week, scan not for over 3 weeks, feels so long away!

How’s everyone feeling? I’m suffering with tiredness and sickness and dreaming of the weekend so I can sleep!

Oh I’ll check that thread out too thanks. It’s so nice to speak with other first timers, especially in a time when classes aren’t able to go ahead

I’ve had horrendous sickness, but today has been a good day! And I’m trying to eat well but all I want is carbs and chocolate 🍫 😂

Yeah, it’s a shame we’re not going to get any groups but I am hopeful things might be a bit better by summer! (The other thread isn’t all FTMs, nice to calm you down you’re freaking out of something is normal!)

Carbs and chocolate- me too, anything beige really. Can’t bear the thought of vegetables, the smell of them cooking is enough to make me sick! I took my antiemetic today because the sickness was too much but it’s totally wiped me out, think I’ll be asleep by 7pm!

Yeah fingers crossed there’s at least some zoom groups going on, would be good!

Beige that is totally the same as me. Except I can’t stomach the thought of chicken.

It still feels surreal to me, I just can’t wait for the first scan then I think it will feel more real. Exciting times

Ah I had an early scan at 8 weeks, was lovely to see the heartbeat. Think the next scan will make me feel more calm and as you say more real.

Atm I’m just really worried about what’s happening in there, I know everything was okay at 8 weeks but super paranoid now! Just got to hope everything is okay! 😊

Try not to worry, I think I’m quite laid back (so far ha ha) I’m trying to not overthink anything and just keep calm (I’m sure that’ll change)

Yep August 20th here first baby the bloating and nausea is killing me off haha

@ladyofthebirds i'm 20th too! I feel like my nausea and tiredness have got worse the last few days. Hopefully not long until it gets better!

@Smallbean27 yay due date twins! 😁mines got worst as iv got further along smells are so strong! 🤮 ice and mints are my friends haha, the bloating is unreal the top of my tummy feels big and massive but its all air! just makes me feel fat and uncomfortable im a size 18-20 but I hope I start to show soon instead of just feeling like a hot airballoon 😆 how are you holding up? xxx

Rice cakes and mini cheddars are my saviour 😊! I have my 1st midwife appt tomorrow, i think it will probably feel more real after that!

Hope I’m not late to the team.
I’m due August 7th according to my last period date! This is my first too..
had a miscarriage last September ! So I’m not super excited, just waiting for my first scan this Friday!

Nausea is slowly settling so so happy about that. I hate it so much! I used to loved all types of meat and now I can't stand the sight/smell or taste! I hope it's a permanent put off! I would love to cut red meat out of my diet permanently! Lol
