@Threecouldbefour it's been one hell of a year. Lockdowns and isolations won't be helping anyone feel like an amazing mum just now. I know I'm certainly not. Be kind to yourself
@TiredAllTheTime3000 thank you, sorry to hear you've had multiple losses. This must be a very worrying time for you? I lost my boys at 22wks in March but that's a story for another time. DS's birthday is the 31st Aug, so could be an expensive month x

Threecouldbefour · 12/12/2020 21:54

@alittlexmasmagic thank you for the kind words. I'm so sorry to read about your losses. That's so desperately sad. Life can be so cruel sometimes. Thanks

Hello ladies,

Congratulations on the BFP! I am between 5/6weeks pregnant! I am a bit nervous as we lost our first pregnancy at 8weeks in jan this year and I am 40yrs old!

Sending positive vibes to everyone Smile

A silly question Incase anyone knows the answer- I have been asked to do an early scan on 22nd of December, normally I would be Uber excited.. but last time we had an early scan in January, was a faint heart beat.. followed by no heart beat the week after... any thoughts on when is the best time for an early scan?

Thx

JChina · 14/12/2020 18:44

Hello all, can I join! Due 21/8 with my third and currently feeling excited and then scared and then scared something will go wrong from one minute to the next! Congratulations to everyone

Welcome and good luck for the next 6-8 weeks x
Threecouldbefour · 14/12/2020 20:08

Hi @alexTP and @JChina. Congratulations

@alexTP I'm not sure when the ideal time is but will you be getting NIPT? If so you might be able to combine the two? Although think that's from 9 weeks? I also want to see whether I can book a scan for end of this week when I'll be 7+ weeks as it's last chance before our older two break up for Christmas!

Feeling so nauseous - it's getting hard to hide it from our children. Thinking that at least I can feel a bit more confident telling them if I've had a scan and it comes to it.

Morning everyone.
How are you all? Just wondering how many are opting for NIPT or private scans etc?x

alexTP · 15/12/2020 09:15

@Threecouldbefour too early for an NIPT... I am going in for an early scan on the 22nd.. and quite nervous as last jan the early scan had a very faint heart beat.. then eventually no heart beat. Almost want to skip this part...

Hi everyone,

I've noticed there are at least three threads for August 21 due dates. I've started a new one with the aim of getting everyone together. It may work, it may not but worth a try xx

Scaredandnewmum · 20/12/2020 01:08

Hey! Just found out I’m pregnant. So due in august. Had a miscarriage back in May this year and it’s been really a hard year for me, that was my second miscarriage. So I’m absolutely terrified right now being pregnant again 😳

Alittlexmasmagic · 20/12/2020 07:28

@Scaredandnewmum this must be terrifying for you. I lost my last pregnancy at 22wks so can totally relate to how you are feeling.
Please come join us over on:

There are so many in a similar situation, we'll all be right there to hold your hand x

FreakingOutMum · 29/12/2020 18:54

Hi all!

Can I join in with you guys? I am due around the 12th and its come as a bit of a surprise. I thought I was done with kids - have 2 daughters 8 and 14 and can't believe I am potentially going through it all again! Also totally freaking out as I come under the 'older mum' category and I am type 2 diabetic so so many things could go wrong. Haven't told anyone yet except for my husband as I am just so nervous

Threecouldbefour · 29/12/2020 20:11

Hi @FreakingOutMum,

Congratulations! I think everyone is over on the thread in the link below now if you want to join that Smile.

I can relate a little - we have 13, 10 and 2. This is very much planned but it is quite a head spin going back to nappies, babies, toddlers etc!

If you go to the other thread you will also find the Facebook group too.

Still suffering sickness abs nausea and also bad stomach aches on a night? Anyone else? Xx

milaboo · 19/02/2021 19:52

@Caz1226 I'm 14.4 weeks and due 16th August! Having barely any symptoms at this point other than stretching pains though! xx

Dan3i · 20/02/2021 22:17

Hi all! Sorry I'm new here. I'm due 27th august and had my dating scan on Tuesday. I decided to have the blood test for risk of downs, patau's and edwards. Does anyone know how long the results are taking at the moment? NT was fine however I don't really want to announce the pregnancy until the blood test results have come back. I'm a bit of a nervous nelly!

Congratulations to you all too! I'm a first time mum so feel out of depth and overwhelmed with everything. Feel like I can't keep up with it all there's so many things to learn 🙈 xx

Redskinsucks · 20/02/2021 23:00

@Caz1226 I'm due 17th too! My third child, had a miscarriage in Nov and got pregnant less than a week later so my due date is abit iffy. I have no sickness but get very moody and am already uncomfortable sitting and lying down in lots of positions. Got alot of gas in the evenings too Blush
