How is everyone today? I don't know about you but I'm so tired! I'm really struggling to keep my eyes open. I spent yesterday evening asleep too! Waves of nausea but haven't been sick yet. Best news of today is that potato waffles can be made in the toaster. I ate two waffle sandwiches for lunch. Two! Very nutritious.

Hope everyone is doing ok x

@Threecouldbefour hi, same here, woke up 3 this morning feeling very sick and by 5:30
I was really dizzy. Very tired and napped this morning which is very unlike me. I've booked an early scan for 30th December as I'm still worried about miscarrying so fingers crossed all is well. My last miscarriage was at 12 weeks so I know things could change after the scan but got to remain positive.

Hope everyone is ok xx

Hello, can I join please! Got a BFP today, due around August 20th. Still in a bit of a shock as this baby was a wee bit of a surprise, we already have a 17 month old. We did want two children so it's very welcome though, just didn't think it would be quite so soon Grin

muminatiz · 09/12/2020 16:32

@Threecouldbefour I feel you with the tiredness. However I'm not sure if its pregnancy related or its the fact I work till midnight and up through the night with my 3 year old. Who knows. I sometimes don't even feel pregnant just now though. Get some waves of nausea every now and then. Keep doubting im pregnant to be honest 😕
Has anyone else lost their appetite? Mines seems to be really low

Congratulations @WatermelonKisses x

biscuitcat · 09/12/2020 16:43

Could I join? Due around the 13th August - still feeling a bit tentative and like it's not quite real, as it was our first month trying for baby number 1 and I wasn't expecting a positive so quickly!

I've been feeling tired but I'm snowed under at work so don't know if it's pregnancy or just that! Also definitely nausea, but I've been sipping ginger beer all day which has made a big difference (though as soon as I stop I feel awful again)

Hello I am due the 14th August, I have just created a group on Facebook called babies due august 2021, I have also provided the link, its a new group I am the only member currently, yay team lonely 🤣🤣🤣 but I honestly got SO much out of the last 2 due date groups ive been in unfortunately I lost my last baby in October so recently left one group as it was to painful, but the one I was in when I was pregnant with my almost 3 year old is still going strong.

We all interact now talking about what our miniature monkeys are upto and we shared worries and tears throughout pregnancy. But it felt like such a wonderful loving community, so you are welcome to come and join and hopefully be the first people involved in my new little extended family.

Obviously the group is private, so not anyone can just join I am looking for also any suggestions and another admin to get this started off the group with me :) thank you

TiredAllTheTime3000 · 09/12/2020 18:11

@lealea95 just sent a join request

Threecouldbefour · 09/12/2020 18:56

Congratulations to the newcomers - and commiserations on the fatigue and nausea! I am really struggling to appear normal around our older ones!

I would love to join Facebook group but then surely it will show to others and they will figure out our news? Or am I being thick? Quite possible... Grin

@Threecouldbefour with private groups you can’t see the members and your friends and family can’t see if you post/comment unless they become members too. They are really great so I recommend you give it a go if the only thing you are worried about is the privacy. X

@lealea95 I have just joined (I am also a member of about 5 others 🤪 lol) x

muminatiz · 09/12/2020 20:51

@Threecouldbefour I was thinking the same thing. Thanks @Scooter89 for confirming. Going to request to join in a second x

Threecouldbefour · 09/12/2020 21:26

Sorry if I'm being dense - I understand they won't be able to see if I comment but surely if one of my contacts were to look at the groups I belong to, they would see that one? Or does it not show up on groups list?

Yes, you are right, I think...

There’s a lovely little Facebook group set up from the August 21 pregnancy chat page which has a completely anonymous name.

Threecouldbefour · 09/12/2020 22:32

Oh, thank you - would you mind sending me the name so I can send a join request please? x

Also, where is the August 21 chat page? I must have not been looking in the right place!

OP posts:
Scooter89 · 10/12/2020 07:45

@Threecouldbefour because it’s a private group they can’t see that you are a member so it doesn’t come up if they were to look at your groups. It’s up to you obviously but I’m a member of loads of them (gone a bit overboard 🤪) and no one has cottoned on yet lol. There are also secret groups but you can only get into those by invite only as they are not searchable. Hope that helps x

Threecouldbefour · 12/12/2020 01:49

@Serg did you send me a private message? I got a notification saying you did but can't see it in my inbox.

Thanks for info @Scooter89, I have looked online and it says the group won't be seen if it's a 'secret' group but that if it's a 'join' group it will come up in your list of groups. I just don't want everyone knowing at the moment so I think I'll wait until we've at least had a scan.

I feel awful now. 6+2 and feel nauseas most of the time. I'm going to have to tell our children soon as they will worry Confused. Luckily my husband has three weeks off for Christmas so that takes the pressure off a bit!

Has anyone got any nice plans for the weekend?

I did!

I will try again :)

alittlexmasmagic · 12/12/2020 08:17

Hi all,
tentatively joining after getting a feint positive this morning. Would be due around 24th August.
My last pregnancy didn't end well so whilst I'm excited, I'm overanalysing everything. Keeping my fingers crossed for everyone, for happy, healthy pregnancies xx

TiredAllTheTime3000 · 12/12/2020 17:35

@alittlexmasmagic congratulations! Totally normal to worry, I've had 2 miscarriages and I just really want time to speed up so I know that all is well, I have an early scan booked for the 30th of December I think I will be around 7/8 weeks going by dates. My last miscarriage was around 12 weeks so I am really hoping all will be well by the 12 week scan.. my daughters bday is the 25th august ☺️

Threecouldbefour · 12/12/2020 19:35

Hi @alittlexmasmagic Congratulations. Mine also started with a super faint line. Fingers crossed for us all. I am also wishing the time away - as much to get shot of the nausea and exhaustion as anything else! I'm finding it really hard - is anyone else? I had a bit of a cry this morning as I feel I'm not being a good Mum to our three dcs as I'm just shattered all the time. @TiredAllTheTime3000 judging by your username I think you'll be able to relate! Grin
