hi all you mums and bumps out there. i am pregnant with no 2 and bought the gentle birthing method book to inspire me through the rest of my pregnancy, but OMG I am horrified at the level of commitment required! Is there anyone out there interested in starting a wee support thread - I think I am going to need it!

tbh it lost me at the point where it claimed honey becomes toxic if heated...

good luck though

Hi, I'm sort of trying it in the cutting out wheat thing, but I've not got the money for the treatments or her tablets or teas or infusions, etc. I am going on a hypnobirthing course- I couldn't imagine not laughing whilst making a tape to do self hypnosis!
Would love to hear how you're doing with it- of you've stuck to it!
Good luck with whatever your up to,

Mrs.Badger- agree totally on toxic honey- WTF?!

Hi there
been off the radar for a couple of weeks - anyway, the gentle birthing thing not going too well. I just think its too hard to do it without other people egging me on. I am starting an antenatal yoga class to get me going on that front and actually think I'll give the self hypnosis a go. As for massaging my nether regions, well lets just say DP isn't too keen and who can blame him! Would love to hear if you're fairing any better....
