Hi katei- sorry i can't help really as i have no experience of this.

There's a lovely lady on my November thread, SparklyGothKat, who has just had her baby at 33+ weeks and has also had previous early babies. I've put a link to your thread and hopefully she'll see it and be able to offer you some advice. Her little boy is doing really well and left hospital in just over a week. Please don't feel down.
Hopefully someone who is a better help will be along soon. Congratulations, and best wishes for the rest of your pregnancy.

Hi, as BB said, I have just had Ds2 at 33+ weeks, all 4 of my pregnancies have ended early, Ds1 was 35+5 weeks, dd1 31 weeks and dd2 was 33+1 weeks, I had hoped because Ds2 was a boy that I might carry further this time. I had to have steriods injections at 28 weeks this time. Didn't have a stitch as they didn't think it was my cervix that was the problem. Ds2 spend 10 days in SCBU and then came home on friday I knew that I wouldn't carry to term, so was prepared for an early birth. What will be, will be! Good luck

thanks for the replys

my 2 oldest boys now 13 and 12 are just fine my 3rd son age 11 was born without the linning of his brain he has a number of problems but is a cheerful chappy,my oldest girl now 10 has kidney problems due to be born early and will more than likely need a transplant later in life,my middle girl who would be 9 (born at 24wks) feel alseep the same day she was born,my youngest who is now 7 has problems with her kidneys but not as bad as older girl,i should point out that my partner ,be together nearly 7yrs isnt the childrens real dad,and this is our 1st child together,he hasnt done the NICU road before,it wasnt a planned either as we had be lead to believe that i wouldnt be able to have anymore due to damage caused with the last c section(had c section with oldest and youngest girls)
