Going to scans with your partner during COVID?

Hi all,

We are thinking of starting to TTC in the near future and we were wondering what are the rules regarding taking your partner along for pregnancy exams and scans at the moment? From what we've read, it's still not allowed if you're through NHS, but what about if you're private?

I realise this is such a minor aspect of pregnancy, however it's going to be our first and my husband really wanted to be involved in the whole pregnancy as much as possible. Thanks in advance!

Currently in my trust, partners are not allowed to attend any scans or appointments. However partners are able to attend the scans booked at private companies. We have booked a scan like this and my SIL has had private scans at scanning companies that my brother was able to go to with her.
