i went to the dentists on tuesday after a weekend of toothache and he whipped my tooth out there and then - have now developed dry socket whcih is 1000 times worse and although i've been back to have it packed half of it has come out and the dentist said he can not prescribe me antibiotics because i'm 8 months pregnant.

Am in so much pain that i'm having to take co codomol just to get me through the day and that doens't offer full pain relief. Am worried of the effects that this is having on the baby - anyone know what amount is safe?

A dry socket is agony - poor you. I would speak to the doctor to get the maximum dosage and maybe some alternative painkiller as well.
