@BabyG123 obviously I won't need to go for another few weeks but the ones I've found near me so far are either closed or won't let my OH come anyway so I'm just going to wait and see

CoronaBaby · 13/05/2020 15:20

When did you all inform your GP or maternity hospital? I haven’t even missed AF yet so I’m slow to inform anyone until after that l, what do you think?

BabyDust13 · 13/05/2020 15:27

@CoronaBaby my AF is due Friday and then I'll probably wait another week before letting them know I only have to go online and fill in a form and they don't book my first appointment until around week 9 so no point rushing.

BabyDust13 · 13/05/2020 15:28

@CoronaBaby I did think about ringing my GP as well to see if they will refer me for an early scan seen as I've had 2 loses but I'm not sure how it works

Littlebump2018 · 13/05/2020 15:47

I've self referred myself a few days ago and today I received my blood booking in form. I'm hoping they might give me an early scan too due to previous issues but I think I'll need to wait for the midwife appointment to get referred for an early scan x

CoronaBaby · 13/05/2020 15:51

That’s how I feel too, I had to ring the GP as DD has a rash and she said just to keep an eye on it but I chickened out of telling her 😬 I feel like a bold child!

BabyDust13 · 13/05/2020 17:07

Has anyone else been really cold is it a symptom or am I just going mad. I haven't been able to warm up for a couple of days and OH is melting apparently

sachaf08 · 13/05/2020 17:25

@BabyDust13 I've been absolutely freezing! Took my temp earlier and it was 97.3.. don't think I've ever seen it that low! I'm just kind of imagining my uterus commandeering all the heat here.. is that a thing?!

BabyDust13 · 13/05/2020 17:31

@sachaf08 I'm glad it's not just me πŸ₯ΆπŸ₯Ά

BabyDust13 · 13/05/2020 19:02

I have some horrible cramps now ladies I hope this is a good thing πŸ€” so much anxiety right now my own fault for testing early I guess only 3+5

myhappystreak · 13/05/2020 19:39

@BabyDust13 I've been having awful cramps too, since before AF was due and now I'm 4w5d. Slowly easing off.

BabyDust13 · 13/05/2020 19:40

@myhappystreak oh ok good thank you

sachaf08 · 13/05/2020 19:52

@BabyDust13 and myhappystreak I'm exactly the same, I'm 4+4, had awful cramps last week and they slowly tapered off, still get the occasional one maybe twice a day now. Try not to worry too much (easier said than done I know), I've seen so many people on here with cramps at this stage and beyond!

BabyDust13 · 13/05/2020 20:02

@sachaf08 thank you it's all so new and the only person I would usually talk to about this is mum but it's too soon to tell anyone else so finding MN my saviour

sachaf08 · 13/05/2020 20:05

@BabyDust13 me too, it's a bit of a struggle now, every time my mum rings I'm having to seriously control myself! I've told a couple of girlfriends but they don't have kids so mumsnet is an absolute lifeline!

BabyDust13 · 13/05/2020 20:12

@sachaf08 I told my mum last time and it turned in to a chemical I don't want to make that mistake again although it was nice to have her support. I'm so bad at keeping things from her so I'm only using WhatsApp to talk to her at the mo πŸ˜‚

Are you waiting until you can see her to tell her?

sachaf08 · 13/05/2020 20:17

@BabyDust13 oh I'm sorry you went through that, it's hard isn't it because on the one hand you don't want to have to give anyone bad news, but it can get very lonely dealing with it on your own.

I think I'm going to try and wait till 6 or 8 weeks if I can, and I suppose we're allowed to meet one person now in a public place so could maybe try and arrange that somehow..?! not really ideal though! I guess video call could work? Do you know what you're going to do/when?

BabyDust13 · 13/05/2020 20:27

@sachaf08 thank you it was horrible but somehow I feel different this time and my test lines have been strong. I keep going on about it sorry if you have already read my previous post but AF is due Friday so can't wait to get to the end of next week.

I think I want to try and get an early scan first at 7 weeks and then after that I'd probably tell her. I'm having trouble finding somewhere near me that's still open but I'm only 3+5 so I have time.

Positivetime · 13/05/2020 21:44

@BabyDust13 hey I had replied earlier but for some reason it didn’t upload. Yep I’ve the following symptoms: feeling tired, boobs hurt so much and period like cramps around my abdomen but since this afternoon I’ve had such bad pain on my lower right side around my back and coming around to my abdomen. I’m not sure if that’s pregnancy related or down to just sitting down all the time working at laptop. I’ve been trying to go for a walk everyday but today was a struggle. This is stressful stuff!

Positivetime · 13/05/2020 21:48

Just read the messages again and glad to hear most ladies symptoms get better and cramps are quite common.

sachaf08 · 13/05/2020 22:01

@BabyDust13 fingers crossed for you this time around, glad your lines are strong, that's reassuring, and not long to go till friday! I think my cramps sort of built up to around when AF was due and then gradually stopped from there, but as you can probably tell I'm totally new to this and it's all a bit of a mystery!
Yes good idea re the 7 week scan if you can get one- hopefully things will start opening up a bit more prenatal care-wise over the next month or so! xx

BabyG123 · 13/05/2020 23:03

If it helps the chain called window to the womb are fantastic. Not sure on everyone's location etc but there are a load of branches.

I hope everyone is ok this morning, just catching up on the chain :).

I was in bed and asleep by 7pm last night I was so tired hahaha.

BabyG123 · 14/05/2020 07:40

I felt super sick this morning and sat up fast to a nose bleed. So glam!

BabyDust13 · 14/05/2020 07:56

@BabyG123 that doesn't sound like fun and thanks for recommending window to the womb there's one about 20 mins away from me but it's currently only doing emergency scans hopefully it will get back to normal soon
