Hey girls- at request.... as we love our May group so much we thought we'd do a graduates group 👶🏼🤞🏼

Morning 🌞 How is everyone today?

@BabyDust13 that’s exciting that you’ve got your scan booked in. Can you just request an early scan or do you have to have a reason? 3 weeks will fly by I’m sure ☺️

It's a private scan we booked it at Window to the Womb it is £79 worth every penny I think. This is our first so we are both super keen to make sure everything is progressing ok

Awww that makes sense 🤦‍♀️ there’s one near me actually. I might think about doing that too. So exciting! X

@OrangeJ it's easy to book online. My oh is so excited to tell his mum but i didn't want to unless we'd had a scan even though I know there still isn't any guarantees I feel like the odds will be more on our side

Urgh not feeling great this morning. Tired, nausea, dizzy. Oh well guess it's s good sign in a way...!

I'm undecided about an early scan. It would be nice to check that everything is ok. Only £59 where I am. They can scan from 8 wks (I'm 6wks now) so still have a few weeks to decide. Will wait until I get my nhs scan date and see how long away it feels!

I have to say window to the womb is a amazing experience. Much more personal than the nhs one.

I had 4/5 extra private ones with DS1 🤦🏼‍♀️😬 such a worrier!

Oh wow it does sound amazing.

I told DH. He didn’t cotton on when I told him I’ve got his bun in my oven (I’m baking his birthday cake) 😂 so had to go on a bit and tell him it might take a while til it’s ready...maybe January. Then he said are you pregnant?!! Then I showed him the digi and told him I hadn’t looked at it yet (which I hadn’t ☺️)

He’s cried so much he’s so happy! I was so ready to tell him to take some time outside on his own as thought he would be in shock that it’s only taken 6ish months.

I said he might not be allowed to come to the first scan with me but he said I don’t care where we need to go. If we have to pay to go private in London I really want to be there.

Bless him. It’s been like 2 hours now and we’ve just been talking about how good parents we want to be and how we want to raise the happiest most positive child ever. He still keeps crying and said this is the best birthday present he’s had and that he will remember this day for the rest of his life 😭❤️

Also...should I be concerned for twins! I’m 1 day past when my period was due and getting 2-3 with smu! 😱😬

@OrangeJ aww that's lovely! Funny he didn't get it straight away. Maybe it is twins ;) a few weeks until you can find out. Look out for early symptoms too!

@BabyDust13 the idea of twins is nice but I think the reality might be something else! Plus I'd be do worried about complications.

@OrangeJ yes I've stocked up on ginger tea just I'm case. It hasn't helped much do far as I'm mostly feeling just rough, almost jet-lagged. But it tastes nice so might help if my nausea gets worse. Each day is a surprise just now- 6 wks today!

Yeah twins would be amazing but we’ve both managed to reach 31 and neither of us have ever changed a nappy so that might be too much in the deep end 😂 guess we’d learn double quick though!

@Skyla01 aw well at least your enjoying it anyway. I keep wondering when I wake up oooh is anything new coming at me today 😆

Hi every one I got my bfp today :)
AF was due today and my temp stayed up and was feeling a bit nauseous so decided to test

I've been having some cramps today is that normal?

Also what is the next stage lol this is my 1st pregnancy so clueless about this. I know things might be different cause of coronavirus

@BabyG123 tell me about it! Even worse is that I seem to have a bit of insomnia too though even though I'm so tired I lie awake for hours.

@Hopefulmummie congratulations! Have you worked out your due date? This is my first too. I had lots of dull cramps at around 5wk, they've stopped now but they are totally normal. I think the first step is to book a first midwife appointment via your GP (or they can direct you how to book). My GP surgery booked me an appointment some time between week 6 and 8. I think all of these are over the phone just now.

@Skyla01 @BabyG123 I’m so happy I’m not the only one laying there for ages. I wouldn’t mind, by 9pm I’m so shattered then get in bed and I cannot sleep! Just been for a long walk in the hope that tonight I nod off quickly!! I don’t remember having insomnia with my other pregnancies!

@Littlepeas2 I didn't with ds1 either. Not like I can nap in the day lol
