I like the title too!!

Ok, new thread resolution - am going to post more often!!

Am struggling today as have only had 4 hours sleep again - this pregnancy insomnia is NOT good!
Have my 21 week scan on Friday. Won't be asking the flavour question though - is anyone else not finding out?

Dsd (19) comes to stay tomorrow for a few days, before she heads off to college. She, um, how can I put this? Does like things to go her way (understatement), so am a bit apprehensive....

leesmum · 17/09/2007 14:37

Ladlemonke love the new title

Bessie123 · 17/09/2007 14:38

Hungrymama · 17/09/2007 20:54

Not sure which thread is the 'happening' one - my last remaining braincells are seriously challenged by all this to-ing and fro-ing
Can I add myself to the list - Hungrymama, (36, South Wales)due Feb 14th. DD - 4.5yrs Will not be finding out the flavour - no siree! More than happy to just wait and see. Must just say though that I get a little frustrated with people asking, 'ooh, what do you think you're having?' I usually just say, 'well, we're hoping for a baby but if it's a rabbit we'll just get a hutch' - am I too harsh????

beansprout · 17/09/2007 20:58

Lol! I have a similar response to "do you know what you are having?"
"A baby", while keeping a completely straight face with a hint of "do you think I am stupid, or what?"

Jo9977 · 18/09/2007 10:38

Love the rabbit answer!

No, not harsh at all - people are SOOOOO stoopid sometimes!

BristolRabbit · 18/09/2007 11:11

I am particularly loving the rabbit answer - as I am one!

Can I join pretty please?!

BristolRabbit, from um ...Bristol, Due Feb 10th,2nd pregnancy (first was MMC in Jan).
Not finding out sex, although have been through the mill a little with CVS test, so could find out 100% what we are having.

Have 20 week anomaly scan on Monday and nervous as hell, everytime I seem to go for a scan something seems to go wrong so now I am paranoid.

Also, havent felt the baby yet - is this abnormal at 19 weeks?

x

Jo9977 · 18/09/2007 13:43

Hi and welcome! Only problem is, think we're on the wrong thread! We'd just got to 1000 messages on the last one and two have been created to take over - not sure but think maybe the other is one we're going for - but I'm confused!

Really feel for you worrying about something going wrong but try to stay positive and busy (and when you've worked out how please tell me!!)

I'm 20 weeks on Thurs (and having scan) and have just started to feel baby move (slightly and not very often) - apparently it starts between 18-22 weeks and is later for first time mums. Hope that helps!

Hang in there and keep an eye out in case this is the wrong thread!!!

Egg · 18/09/2007 13:53

Hi girls. Been trying to stay off this thread and only post on the other one, in the hope this one will drop off... Come on over to other thread, (link a few posts down by ladlemonke), and we will try to keep to just one! Too confusing otherwise for us pregnant ladies.

I will copy and paste stats list onto other thread and then BristolRabbit (welcome!) you can add your details in there.

JJ2ndTime · 07/10/2007 14:35

YEAH!!!! Seems there were hardly any threads for due in FEB . . . was about to piggy back on the due MARCH one as my date is Feb 28th!

All the same glad to have found you all, I was diasgnosed with SPD last month and my particular interest is in getting some good ole calorie burning acivities on my menu! I had my last exercise jaunt at the beinning of September with a 15mile cycle trip (split in two journeys) after which the onset of agony prevailed!

Having been an avid gym member prior (cancelled now) and keen cyclist, no less than 30miles per week up to August this year, I am now totally frustrated with the lack of options available for doing some burning exercising!

Swimming as attractive as it seems presents a challenge for getting in and out of the pool. Apart from really cutting back to eating bare minimums is there any other suggestions out there??

I keep cals down quite strictly so at 20wks weight gain has remained beneath a stone for now JJx

Slacker · 07/10/2007 15:20
