Booking appointment

I had a scan at EPU a few weeks ago that dated me at 5+4, she said it's difficult to date due to being so early on. When I phoned local midwife team I was given booking appointment for 2nd January when I would be 10+6, bit later than I expected for the appointment but they said it's first one available. I had a private scan last week at what I though was 8 weeks but the scan showed 9 weeks. This means I'll be a couple of days short of 12 weeks at my booking appointment.

How only after the booking appointment do you normally wait for the '12 week's scan? I'm worried that if they are busy I won't get in for a couple of weeks.

I had a MMC in May and found out at my 12 week scan so I'm anxious enough without having to wait well into January!

I can't remember what happened when I had my DD a few years ago, I went through that pregnancy blissfully ignorant to all the ins and outs.

When you go see midwife they will date you from lmp not from what your private scan has said and they will then book you in for a scan so they will possibly still go off either your Lmp or the Epu scan.
Suppose you will only a scan for when they have availability so depends how busy they are... Hopefully you don't have to wait too long x
