HELP - When does morning sickness start? Is under 4 weeks too early?

Hi all. It's been soooo long since I have been on Mumsnet, but great to be back.

Anyway, have been TTC for several months now. Had a few strange things happen the last few months. 2 months ago, several days late - thought I was pregnant then. But gutted when I wasn't . Then last month I was 5-6 days early, and wasn't really a period, was kind of brown discharge, and wasn't every day - like the end of your period. I did a pregnancy test on advice of doctor, and it was negative. Then proper red stuff came for a couple of days a few days later. Fast forward to now (sort of think I was due yesterday based on 4 weeks from early period start date). I've been feeling really sick since the weekend, oversensitive to smells, really tired (well that's been going a couple of months), and running to the toilet lots.

I got morning sickness from about 8 weeks first time, and 6 weeks second time.

So back to my question in teh post title - when does morning sickness start? Is 4 weeks too early? What are the chances of it being a wrong negative last month (despite the red bleeding afterwards)?

Not sure what to do now. Have sent DH out to get a test....

My morning sickness started from about 3 weeks. Hope you get the answer you want. If it's a BFN, wait a few more days before testing again.

Hiya, quick update. Was negative the day I posted originally, but now positive - yeh!! So off to join the antenatal club. I;m assuming I'm 'just' pregnant for now, am sure the scan will show if I am further gone. still sick as a dog. Isn't nature cruel! If I have a fourth, the pattern suggests I'll be sick from Day 1!!!

thanks for your help and interest x
