Iโ€™m due 20th of December and can not believe how fast the time has gone.

Have you prepared your hospital bag? I started adding things to Ocado and will pack in the next two weeks (my dd wants to help and she is 7 so want to do in advance so we can enjoy doing it together).

I still need to order my stroller. And wash baby clothes. And sort a lot of things in the house!

Forgot to add, that Iโ€™m a little nervous about giving birth. Itโ€™s my third, and my first two all was fine and i managed to just deal with it when time came. But never been great with hospitals! Hate them. But when the pain gets real, my hate for hospitals goes out the window and my love for pain free epidural gets rid of my fears! Lol.

Have half bag packed... The baby half. I have nothing.

Baby clothes washed and put away in New chest of drawers. Crib on order. Ceiling to be re-plastered do child does not grow up farthing the devil artex.

Birth plan written.

ohdearymemumof3 · 13/11/2019 08:28

My due date is the 21st, also 3rd babyโค

I am scared for labour even though my longest was 8hrs and no pain relief with either, still not pleasant though is it๐Ÿ™ˆ

Bags not packed, clothes aren't put away, crib isn't put together, car seat isn't washed. Really not prepared ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ™ˆ x

Mamabear12 · 13/11/2019 08:41

Oh same here. Nothing is washed or put together lol. I think Iโ€™ll wash baby clothes today! The other stuff can wait until last minute, as donโ€™t want side crib up until last minute.

Iโ€™m due 20th as well! Although it canโ€™t come quick enough, Iโ€™ve been so sick these past couple of weeks ๐Ÿ˜” I have my bags packed and almost everything ready as I swore I was going to go early with being so sick! I think Iโ€™m just so impatient now!!! I havenโ€™t built bedside crib or brought my pram home yet either but that can be done when baby arrives! I havenโ€™t started nesting either house could be doing with a good deep clean but I havenโ€™t got the energy with being so sick!

Kate3150 · 13/11/2019 09:55

I cannot believe it either! I remember reading threads on here and thinking gosh Iโ€™d love to be a month away from due date and that time is finally here!!!!
Iโ€™m trying to enjoy the time before he arrives but I really cannot wait to have him here and gradually get back to some normality (well a crazy new version of normality ๐Ÿ˜‚) !
Whatโ€™s everyone looking forward to doing when not pregnant anymore? I know this is really sad but I canโ€™t wait to book in for a high intensity work out... Iโ€™m so excited thinking about it ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜ฌ x

Iโ€™m feeling so very unproductive and unprepared for this! Also #3 for me, a planned CS but no date set yet, probably around the 21 too.

We donโ€™t have everything we need yet for the nursery and Iโ€™m just mentally treading water at work at best. Iโ€™m not hiring in maternity cover either so I agreed to keep working until she arrives.

At least I feel OK physically? That counts for something, right?

WhenTwoBecomeThree · 13/11/2019 10:20

Due on the 2nd with 1st baby, everything is sorted and ready for her to appear! I finish work at the end of this week so will feel much better then, currently struggling with a lack of sleep and a very achy pelvis and back!

lovebeingmum9 · 13/11/2019 10:31

hiya im due on 3rd of December (getting induced on due date) this is our 4th and we are all so excited.....20 days to go! bags are packed, nursery is ready and just a few little bits to wash before he arrives! looking forward to introducing him to our other children who are 8,5 and 2 and having a magical and manic family Christmas!

bespokepaininthearse · 13/11/2019 13:04

Due end of December, on the home stretch now! 2nd baby so not half as organised as I probably should be, I need to pack hospital bag and he nursery isn't finished, we are however going furniture shopping this weekend so it should come together quickly! What's everyone packing in there hospitals bags? Any holy grail items?

Also, talking of baby clothes, how many of each size has everyone purchased?

gwenneh · 13/11/2019 15:59

I haven't been able to justify purchasing ANYTHING because I've been given so much in terms of hand-me-downs, but from previous experience I know I need more 3-6 and 6-12 sizes!

Ilovethekitties · 13/11/2019 16:03

Wahoo!

I am due on the 14th December, although I'm petrified as its my first baby and a lot of the mums in my NCT class have had horrible births so I'm nervous about that whole experience.

I have hospital bag half packed, do any of you have links to what I should be packing? I have seen a few sources that say different things.

Good luck to all of you ladies xxoxxoxo

StarlightIntheNight · 13/11/2019 18:44

Ilovethekitties I think it depends on what you want and your comforts, on what to put in hospital bag. Make two sections in the bag, one for your things and one for baby. For example, for myself I packed lip balm, wash cloth, toiletries...things I know I would need. Also, be prepared...download some netflix movies or shows just in case you end up having to stay there longer. I had to stay 48 hours for my second and didn't have anything new to watch.

LemonLey · 13/11/2019 18:58

My first - due 17th Dec. Getting nervous now, I have a week on Friday left at work, when do you all stop working? Bags partially packed, some baby clothes washed. We were very lucky to have had most of our baby stuff donated!

bobble53 · 13/11/2019 19:30

Iโ€™m due on the 4th with my first and finish work next Wednesday. I am absolutely shattered. Hospital bags all packed! Getting excited now but just want to finish work and rest x

Pinky8383 · 13/11/2019 19:38

I'm due on 22nd with my second DS. Had a productive couple of days and I think nesting has begun lol! Cleared out cupboards/kitchen etc other day. Baby's bag almost done but mine still needs doing. Got lots of clothes etc left from DS1 but have bought a few more. Nursery not even been started yet though so think that'll be the next job. Intrigued to see if baby will be here in time for Xmas or not ๐Ÿค”๐Ÿค”
