Hi all,

So I'm currently 5weeks 2 days pg and I'm on this medication for psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis. The rheumatologist dept have said it's fine to keep on the injections up to the end of the second trimester but she said it's my choice... just wondering if there are any other expectant mothers out there who are on this medication and have stayed on it during the 1st and 2nd trimester?

Thanks x

I'm 31 weeks & I'm on humira still. My consultant is leaving me on it for the duration of the pregnancy as she doesn't want me flaring up before labour. Staying on it only means baby can't have live vaccinations till 6 months old which is only one vaccine. Hasn't affected my pregnancy at all staying on it, rather the opposite, I'm completely pain free in all my joints

Hi @starflake

Did you carry on with the Humira all through pregnancy? Are you on it whilst BF?

I stopped the injections early in pregnancy but now that I've given birth my joints and skin are really bad!

@Coastaldreamer yes I stayed on it all the way through & I'm now breastfeeding on it, it's completely safe to stay on and for breastfeeding. The only thing is my DD can't have the norovirus vaccine till 8 months old as that's a live vaccine.
