Internal scan

Hi everyone. I need some advice. I have had some bleeding recently and today had an internal scan (I am 7 weeks) as they couldn't see anything yet with normal scan. All was well with baby but since scan I have been bleeding worse than I was before and all reassurance I had this morning has gone! Has anyone else experienced this? Is it just the invasive nature of the scan that is causing the bleeding?

Bumping for you

hi - sorry you're having a worrying time. i had 2 transvaginal scans early in this pregnancy and yes, had small bleeds after both - think it's becasue the cervix gets 'bumped' in the process of scanning

if it continues for longer than a couple of hours, or becomes heavier, you should prob contact your epu again on monday
