Is there anyone else who is expecting their baby in December 2019?

Thats something ive been worrying about, a silent miscarriage, so thats put my mind at rest a bit.
I have my booking appointment Wednesday. Just want our 12 week scan so we can tell people🙂 Have you told anyone yet or are you waiting till your first scan?

leomama81 · 03/05/2019 21:51

I know, it's hard waiting for the 12 week scan! It is definitely good having the booking appointment though too, makes it feel more real and I found it a good chance to talk through all my worries/questions. Is this your first pregnancy? (It is mine)

I have told immediate family and also some of my closest friends, as I figured if something went wrong I would want their support (I'm not with the dad either). But no one beyond that. I am showing quite a bit already though I think and also eating like a horse in the office so I wouldn't be surprised if some people have guessed - I am looking forward to being able to stop hiding it as well! I've definitely been lying low on the social front partly so I don't have to tell more people or lie about not drinking etc - though I'm totally shattered as well. Is it just between you and your partner at the moment? (If so I admire your ability to keep a secret!:)

Bab1990 · 03/05/2019 22:09

Also my first pregnancy. So excited🙂
Its just us and my manager knows. I really want to tell my siblings but my OH wants to wait till weve had our scan so we can tell them in a fun way with the picture lol. I would be shocked if people at work havent guessed because like you im already showing. Or its the bloating I cant really tell but my tummy has just popped out🙈

trishaG · 03/05/2019 22:27

Welcome to all the new mummy's to be!
I think I am showing too even though I'm only 9 weeks. But like you ladies I can't stop eating either - so could just be all the food !
I have only told my parents, brother and my husbands parents and his brother. I have also told a couple of close friends. As they also told me early so I feel I had to return the gesture.

How are you ladies all feeling ??

Still getting the morning sickness ?

I get nauseous every morning but have only actually been sick a couple of times.

Hi December babies buddies!
I'm 10 weeks today and still haven't got a date for my 12 week scan Sad. I was told it can be from 12-14 week. I'm over 40 so I'm even more anxious.
Hope you're all keeping well.

DieselSucker · 09/05/2019 12:27

Sorry I'm 9 weeks. I wish I was 10 already

trishaG · 09/05/2019 12:46

@DieselSucker
Can you ring up your local maternity ward and tell them to book you in ?

OP posts:
DieselSucker · 09/05/2019 13:22

@trishaG that's what I did this morning. That's when I was told that I can get my scan up to 14 weeks and they'll send me a letter the week before Sad

DieselSucker · 09/05/2019 13:25

I remember with my last pregnancies I used to know nearly 1 month in advance but my youngest is 4 now so things must have changed.

Nigupefi41 · 09/05/2019 13:59

Hello

Can I join you all please 😌

I'm currently just over 9 weeks with twins EDD is 10th December..

12 week scan is 2nd June but I've booked an early scan for next Thursday 🙄...

Suffering sickness badly and trousers don't fit 😂

X

DieselSucker · 09/05/2019 15:03

@Nigupefi41 congratulations. Wow double Christmas present Smile

Dreamsunshine · 10/05/2019 22:30

Hi Every one. Sorry for jumping in! I'm 9.2 weeks. Due 11th December going by my dates. I'm a nervous wreck though. Havnt had any symptoms. Had some nausea at 4.5 weeks and nothing since! No other symptoms. Bit more tired only. I had some sore nipples for about 2 weeks but even that went away. Worrying every day!

trishaG · 11/05/2019 08:53

@Dreamsunshine please don't worry.
They say each pregnancy is different for each person. Just try to stay positive!!

fonxey · 11/05/2019 09:06

I seem to have the opposite to many of you. Like @Bab1990 I've had no real sickness. I also don't really feel hungry all the time. In fact, I get full a lot sooner. I used to get through a 3 course meal with ease but now I get full up after starters!

The only thing I notice is that I absolutely HAVE to have lunch whereas in the past I could skip it or wait longer.

And i find myself needing an afternoon snack and by about 4-5am after getting up to pee i have to munch on something. But I'm not ravenous. I don't know if I'm earthing more. I think I'm eating smaller amounts at given meal times but hungry more frequently. I guess that's a good thing though... So can't complain, more an observation.

Pregnancy is very interesting what it did to you!

DieselSucker · 11/05/2019 09:31

@Dreamsunshine try not to worry. My friend says all her pregnancies are really boring because apart from feeling tired and later feeling the baby moving she never has any other symptoms. I actually think she's lucky.

@fonxey I wish I could be eating like you. I've been eating all the time just to feel less nauseous. I've already put loads of weight on Sad.

Dreamsunshine · 11/05/2019 10:53

Thank you ladies. I'm trying my best to stay positive and I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one who feels like this x

Bab1990 · 11/05/2019 12:36

Try and stay positive @Dreamsunshine I know its easier said then done. I had such sore nipples and that has now just gone, im still really tired and bloated but other then those 2 symptoms everything else has gone. Its just natural to worry.
Roll on the 29th when I have my 12 week scan🤞🏻🤞🏻 Will still worry no doubt🙈

Dreamsunshine · 11/05/2019 12:59

@Bab1990 that's sounds likes me! I still havnt got my date for 12 week scan. Hope it arrives soon. Thank you and good luck with yours x

Bab1990 · 11/05/2019 14:57

Thank you🙂 Had my booking in on Wednesday and Thursday when I got home from work my scan letter was here, didnt think it would be that quick. Have you had your booking in yet?

Dreamsunshine · 11/05/2019 15:22

No in my hospital they don't do a separate booking appointment anymore. Everything happens at the 12 week appointment 🤦‍♀️ which makes it feel even longer!

Bab1990 · 11/05/2019 16:45

Omg yeh that will seem long. Good luck anyway. 🤞🏻 You hear from them soon

fonxey · 11/05/2019 17:05

@Dreamsunshine threats a horribly long wait!

I think lack of symptoms can be normal too, which is annoying. I'd like to have morning sickness or at least feel like stuffing my face just to feel properly pregnant. The two people at work who know keep trying to feed me!

I have put on a few kgs but that might be part of an apparently growing trend since hitting my thirties! I've been growing a beerless beer belly for a few years.

cirencester21 · 17/05/2019 21:47

Hi ! I’m also due on 2nd December which is very exciting! I had my 12 week scan last week but going back for another one as the bubba was too small for the chromosome tests. I guess that’s good as then I get to see the ultrasound twice! They have also pushed my due date forward by 8 days ! Anyone else had this?

trishaG · 18/05/2019 11:21

My due date has been pushed from the 5th December to the 7th as baby was smaller.
Have you all been given paper maternity notes or are all your notes on an app ?
Mine are on an app. I have been given no paper.
