Is there anyone else who is expecting their baby in December 2019?

No problem, I know how confusing it can all be. This is my second and I still have no clue what I’m doing, it all seems so different this time around.

WinDLivesy · 11/04/2019 11:05

I took a pregnancy test yesterday on the off chance as was 2 days late for period, but we weren't seriously trying, just not 'preventing' and it was positive! Took two more, all positive and one more after work this afternoon - positive! I'm in shock as it's happened so quickly - just had Drs appt tonight so will take samples tomorrow to get it all confirmed and line up next steps! I'm 32, this is my first pregnancy and if all good, due date is predicting at 18/12/2019. This is all very crazy to me right now, but just want to have others to talk to :)

There’s so many December babies!

Kayl0rz · 14/04/2019 21:21

Hey, another here!
Got my BFP Saturday morning after testing and getting a faint positive on tuesday. One app says 18th as my due date but another said another date so will wait and see what a doctor says!
No symptoms so far... just a no show AF!

Silvanna · 14/04/2019 21:31

Hi! I'm probably due 11th Dec but because it will have to be a c-section, I reckon a week earlier. Feeling quite sick already, can't wait for December 😣

Lhmm · 15/04/2019 11:17

Sickness has come I feel absolutely awful I'm currently lay up in bed kids are on Easter holidays luckily they just want to chill out and watch movies with me but this is terrible roll on December!!!

WinDLivesy · 15/04/2019 12:01

Just got back from the Drs with official positive result 😬😁 just a couple of weeks to wait and we can book in for a scan as it's heart will be beating - very real now! 4wks +5days

Bab1990 · 17/04/2019 09:24

Morning ladies. How is everyone feeling? Im just super tired and lower back is sore. Also my boobs have gotten bigger, much to my OHs delight🤣🙈
@Lhmm hope your feeling better💐
@WinDLivesy my doctor wont see me till im 8 weeks, currently 6+2, so its going to drag till I see them. Just want it confirmed officially from the doctors lol. Are you having an early scan or waiting till your 12 week?

xlovelyvibes · 17/04/2019 09:48

Hiiii 👋

I'm due 1st December! and I am not having a good time 😩😩

Sickness is all day everyday, hospitalised once already on a drip but no sore boobs hahah that's the only plus 😂 xx

WinDLivesy · 17/04/2019 22:35

@Bab1990 that's pretty crazy, I don't have any clue how it works tbh, I'm in Brisbane Aus, whereabouts are you?

I'm just following on with the doctors process, so had the official blood and pee test confirmations then Dr said from week commencing 1st May i can have first scan as heart will be beating - that will be just 7 weeks. After that I am to go back to Dr and then she refers me to the antenatal clinic at my local hospital where I'll go for the first tri scans and DS screening between weeks 10 and 13! I'm just a public patient so I can only guess that this is just standard procedure over here impressed so far though, as hailing from the UK all I ever thought was you had a 12 week scan and that's it!

WinDLivesy · 17/04/2019 22:36

And DS in this case was actually down syndrome not darling son oops!

Bab1990 · 18/04/2019 08:20

Im in the UK, its different everywhere. Once we get it confirmed with doctors we then get our 12 week scan and then have another at 20 weeks, I think🙈 This is our first so all new to this so im going off my Sisters pregnancies lol. Going to be a very long 6 weeks till we tell everyone haha xx

Ironytheoppositeofwrinkly · 18/04/2019 08:30

Hi ladies, can I join? Had a stillbirth on the 26th December last year at 34+5 and just got my positive test, due by LMP on 26/12/19 :(
I'm a bit of a mess.

I am also due 19th December! I find out i was pregnant a week ago but am an absolute nervous wreck. Ive only known a week and its been such a hard week, i am having bad dull aches and cramping in uterus area and all across my lower back and it is filling me with dread :( i just want to be excited and happy but i darent let myself look too far ahead.

trishaG · 18/04/2019 09:35

Welcome to you all.
I can't believe how many of us have December due dates.

I've been taking the pregnacare that I had before I was trying I think they finish.

Does anyone know if you can get pregnacare on prescription in the UK ??

OP posts:
Ironytheoppositeofwrinkly · 18/04/2019 09:58

Not on prescription, but they are 3 for 2 atm in superdrug, and they're only 5ish pounds a box :)

trishaG · 19/04/2019 22:22

I know I said I wouldn't have an early scan but due to spotting 3 times over a week and a half my anxiety was going crazy.
I was so worried about my little raspberry - so we went and had a private early scan today. Baby is fine and although it was unclear and looked like a little blob it's our little blob. Our little blob had a heartbeat and we could see it beating in the scan Smile
They checked baby over and said that everything is good and baby is fine Grin

I did however end up having a trans-vaginal scan - where I had to have an internal examination - but although it was a little uncomfortable it was totally worth it - as we got to see our little raspberry! I'm already so in love with this little one !!

Glad all is ok @trishaG 💐
Have a lovely weekend ladies & make the most of the weather🙂

WinDLivesy · 20/04/2019 21:24

Yeah I'm very jealous, the UK looks great at the minute, it's been pouring with rain in Brisbane!!

snowflakeeel · 20/04/2019 22:00

Hi ladies. would be lovely to join you. BFP today at 17 dpo. Thought I was out as tested at 13dpo with a BFN, convinced AF was on her way so didn't bother testing again until quite late. Due date will be 25th December but I seem to carry for 41 weeks so more likely a 'new years day' arrival.
I have a daughter (5), son (2) .
A mmc a couple of cycles ago.

Eliza9919 · 21/04/2019 08:27

Can I join, due 28th December.
