Well its too posh for where I live! Toby & Dominic are nice though.

TutterJane · 09/07/2007 12:41

of those i'd go for toby. i had considered it for ds2 but a close friend has a toby

NoNickname · 09/07/2007 12:42

Love Toby, but think it is becoming quite popular at the moment - I hear it all the time.

Dominic is fab - wanted it for ds, but it doesn't go with our surname.

And Hugo isn't too posh.

If you like the more "posh" names, there's also:

Sebastian
Rupert
Miles
Benedict
Felix

laughalot · 09/07/2007 12:50

I like hugo my little boy is called aidan

cece · 09/07/2007 13:04

Hugo very nice

Toby - OK and there are a lot of them around

nailpolish · 09/07/2007 13:06

Toby is slang for penis in some places. perfect for bullies
i dont think Hugo is too posh, i like it
Dominic is lovely too

nailpolish · 09/07/2007 13:07

my fave boys name is Dimitri

funnypeculiar · 09/07/2007 13:08

I like Toby (but hate Tobes, which it gets shortened to) & Dominic (Dom's OK)- Hugo less so...

collisionfrances · 09/07/2007 13:08

Are you greek NP???!

Harry, Evie and Dimitri!!! I use those names as being popular these days!

It is rather random!

MamaG · 09/07/2007 13:09

I like toby and Dominic, also love Sebastian and LAwrence

nailpolish · 09/07/2007 13:09

what are you on about collision

Tinker · 09/07/2007 13:09

Depends where you live. Hugo way too posh round here.

Toby is a bit of a little boy's name, not really a man's name.

Love Dominic

ernest · 09/07/2007 13:10

I like Aidan, Dominic and Peter. Oh and Simon

nailpolish · 09/07/2007 13:10

Hugo - i fyou are worried its too posh, you could go for Hugh?

Anna8888 · 09/07/2007 13:51

My sister's son is called Hugo - chosen largely because it works in both English and French, and his father is French.

Not especially posh IMO - much less so than Toby or Dominic.

Anna8888 · 09/07/2007 13:52

nailpolish - Dimitri gets shortened to Dim...

nailpolish · 09/07/2007 13:53

i know

ill probably never have a boy so wont owrry over that dilemma

Just that Dimitri is a rather random name, that was all NP!

And that if you have children named Harry and Evie and then had a Dimitri, it sounded a bit odd.

But if you were Greek then Dimitri is a fab name.

Bainmarie · 09/07/2007 22:35

Dominic is a lovely name. Toby is nice too.

NP - Oh, my favourite boys name is Dimitri too!
