Hi @GrapesAndCheese and all the other lovely ladies here.
Thanks for making the November thread!
It's lovely to read everyone's journey and to know that we're not a lone.
I first tested on Friday 8th of November, in the morning at around 11:40am and wasn't convinced it was a BFP. Maybe because I was impatient and tested on my own when DH couldn't be around.
I made a thread on here and was advised to wait 48 hours and re-test, which I did yesterday- Sunday the 10th of March (you can see I'm journaling, lol
).
This time, to avoid all doubts and to ensure the pictures I took were absolutely irrefutable evidence, I took my pictures against a timer clock so I KNOW it was definitely within that 5 minute reading window, and also to test how quickly the line will show.
When I tested yesterday, it was already 15 days after AF was supposed to arrive. So this was mine:
@Unsureursula you and I have a lot in common! Even our dates are so close! I'm supposed to be the 5th of November, and I have several fibroids which I was actually referred for, but in the meantime this lovely surprise popped up! It's great to hear that we'll be monitored more closely. Do you know what size your fibroid is? Also, if it's not too personal, can I ask why you said you decided to TTC after finding out about your one fibroid?
The reason I ask is because I was worried about this lovely news being alongside those nasty fibroids- particularly when they're a good few centimetres in size. [Sad]
Your post was uplifting though as the fibroid was the reason you decided to TTC.
You'll be having your first scan on Wednesday, yay!
I'm a bit worried overall ladies. This is our first ever, and we have had problems TTC for over 9 years so this was nothing short of a miracle, but I just need to understand what'll happen with all my other gynae related stuff now. I have an appointment with the GP this week (which I'd booked before BFP!) So we're hoping to get clarifications and understand everything then.
How is everybody feeling today?
sorry about my long post
