Pappa-a IUGR

Hello,

I am new here and I am pregnant with my second baby. The fist one, 10 years ago was IUGR but now he is fine and healthy.

Can you please, tell me, if the Pappa-a levels were at a normal level ( mesured at 12 weeks) and still, you have delivered an IUGR child?

Thanks,

This isn’t quite what you asked, but I had low Papp-a and IUGR in my first pregnancy, and my second pregnancy was fine. Normal Papp-a levels at 12 weeks, I had additional growth scans as a precaution but my 2nd baby was fine - born naturally at full term and a healthy weight, whereas my first had been induced at 36 weeks because he’d stopped growing.

I hope that helps - good luck and congratulations on your pregnancy.
