Hope this works....! Here's hoping July is the month for

  • proper bumps not fat looking tummies
  • feeling them move!
OP posts:

MotherofZ · 10/07/2007 15:37

You guys are so organised - I haven't even begun to think of names.....

Neuro · 10/07/2007 15:38

Ooops i mean NOT just go on breeding.
Getting all and doing typos

BaggieBird · 10/07/2007 15:40

ROFL Neuro

Nbg · 10/07/2007 15:48

Neuro, trust me, you'll really not give a crap (scuse the pun) if you do crap

I did with ds but god it felt good after and I really did not giev 2 hoots about it.

suey2 · 10/07/2007 15:50

agree, neuro. I am afraid i also don't think we (taxpayers) should pay for people who were stupid enough not to have contents insurance when the flood hit.

thelady · 10/07/2007 15:51

Not planning to find out the sex unless it's completely obvious to us on the scan next week (roll on Thursday 19th!).

We're the opposite with names: quite a few boy's ones we like, but really struggling for girls. It doesn't help that DH is absolutely convinced that this is a boy....

Having a bit of a meltdown today with work/financial stress so will keep my head down and try and avoid making a total fool of myself in public.

BaggieBird · 10/07/2007 15:54

NBG, I just looked at your profile. We're both 24 with a 3 year old, 10 month old and are both due in Dec

skidaddle · 10/07/2007 15:55

I thought mumsnet was supposed to be full of tree-hugging liberals

Nbg · 10/07/2007 15:55

lol baggie

Am actually 25 now.
Only just though!

JARM · 10/07/2007 15:56

lol

Ill be 25 in 5 weeks... seems a good age to have 3 small kids lol

suey2 · 10/07/2007 15:57

LOL skidaddle. I may have shown my true colours

Neuro · 10/07/2007 16:00

Suey2 - totally agree. My heart sinks when i hear things like it's going to cost the country £2 billion or whatever to help people. I pay buildings AND contents insurance, and i am very very sorry for people who's homes have been ruined, but everyone knows you should have insurance.
Honestly i am SICK to death of what namby pambys this country appears to be filled with!

It's easy:

  1. no dole for able bodied, mentally well people (if i had to i would scrub loos for money rather than sign on or get restaurant work, which i used to do and loved it, so certainly do not look down on any sort of manual work).

  2. Castrate all paedos chemically and physically

  3. take people who break the law's passports off them so they can't go abroad causing havoc - i'm talking people with violent/sexual records here.

  4. Make tax laws MUCH harder for rich people. EG Sir Philip Green the one who owns Topshop and did all the Kate Moss clothes stuff (Emperor's New Clothes if you ask me), so basically the guy gets a f**king knighthood but keeps his money out of the country so to avoid tax. WHY is that allowed to happen? The very rich are no better than benefit fraud. It is all the same i'm going to get waht i want for myself.

And the gap is getting wider and wider, so in about 10 years, if not sooner, if you're not a hight or at the least, a reasonable one, then what will the incentive work? People that work and contribute fairly should be called the working class, because much of the old working class do not work.

God sorry, i've totally got on my soapbox.
Getting down now. Going to make cup of tea and eat chocolate.

Neuro · 10/07/2007 16:02

Skidaddle - I am a liberal! And i hug trees (saw an amazing one on Saturday) but am quite fascist when it comes to people that take the you know what.

BaggieBird · 10/07/2007 16:08

I only turned 24 last week. We do seem quite young to have 3 babies JARM, not thought about it before

peanutbutter · 10/07/2007 16:33

We kept our lists of names a secret when i was pregnant with ds and will do so again this time (even though we're going to find out the sex for this pregnancy).

So - for a girl it's simple - she will be Elizabeth Margaret, but we just can't agree on a boy's name. Dh has vetoed Sam and Max. Our friend has named her little boy Daniel so we feel that's out as a choice so we're left with Alexander as one we both quite like (but only quite like - we can both take it or leave it really.....gahhh!!)

skidaddle · 10/07/2007 16:45

neuro - think this statement might go against most liberal doctrines

"Castrate all paedos chemically and physically"

Mind you I suppose a true liberal doesn't have a doctrine, s/he is a liberal after all...

suey2 · 10/07/2007 16:59

oy- all you youngsters are making me feel like a right old granny! (37 on my first PG)

skidaddle · 10/07/2007 17:08

suey2 - tis the modern way I'm 33 but still one of the first of my friends to get pg

Neuro · 10/07/2007 17:27

and me, the fascist, is 35 and first preg too (and only one of friends to do it)

Nbg · 10/07/2007 17:29

Your only as old as you feel

In my case, 87.

cazzybabs · 10/07/2007 17:32

I am 28 - well I will be 29 when dc3 is born. Infact it only now that the first few of my friends are starting to go forth and multiply!

Names - dh just says yes or no. I suggest them and normally he says no!

I like (not dh note) Phillipa (pippi for short), Harriet (hattie), or Tess for a girl. (I will not be allowed Tess as Dh's name starts with a T). For a boy I like William (very common) or Noah (again I doubt I will be allowed this as I was not allowed it as a name for dd1 or 2).

skidaddle · 10/07/2007 17:42

Cazzybabs I really like Noah too but I had a boyfriend called Noah for a long time so it would be a bit wierd to call my son that - plus I'm still in touch with him so he might think I was a bit of a stalker. The other name I really like is brother's name and his head wouldn't fit through the door if we named our son after him (not that we would be but he wouldn't believe it)!

suey2 · 10/07/2007 18:01

I really like georgie for a girl and DH likes george for a boy- this could end up being pretty easy! Although DH wants a middle name- but can't have a vowel as our surname begins with N (GIN anyone?)

dazedorconfused · 10/07/2007 18:26

George/ia such a great name, my db pipped me to it by having child 2 years earlier than I was ready!
I like middle names and like the idea of giving them mother's maiden names - grandparents not mine. Problem is one of them is Spencer and dh went to school (talking junior here) with a spencer who wet his pants so has vetoed it completely!!

mad4girls · 10/07/2007 19:29

sorry for going on ealier ladies didnt mean to get everyone upset

i have my own personal vendetta just annoted me that job centre send her crap here when she aint lived here for 4 yrs anyway sorry

as for finding out the sex im really hoping we can especially as theres so much pinning on it, everyone wants a girl although they wouldnt be upset if its a boy(i think it is) but id rather we were prepared, plus i couldnt find out with dd2 because she crossed her legs, knowing this fidget bum (which its been today) will cross his/her legs as well.

as for how old we are ive only just turned 25 and i have a 7yr old and a 5 yr old been married and divorced how scary is that

yes i was a naughty girl pregnant at 16 please dont hang me out to dry though im really nice person, promise
