Wondering if anyone has had issues with their first scan at 12 weeks. I went for my dating scan this week, the sonographer immediately said baby wasn’t in a great position, blurry picture, and baby wouldn’t move into a better position. She detected a heartbeat and said baby was wriggling about. I emptied my bladder and then she tried transvaginal scan, still looked a bit blurry and she only managed one measurement. She said I was measureing 12 weeks and 6 days which is bang on what I thought, she ended up saying I needed to go back in 2 weeks. I have pcos and carry weight on my abdomen so not sure if this added to the problem. When I go back in 2 weeks I will be 15 weeks, too late for the NT scan which I’m worried about but i spoke to a trainee sonographer and she said the blood test I will get will be enough. It’s my first pregnancy, we needed fertility drugs to conceive after 3 years of trying so I’m just so anxious about everything. Anyone have a similar experience? Thanks x
