Hi
My Dd was born in November 2018. She is perfect to me.. however my mother on law keeps nagging at me regardinb my DD’s head and musn’t ruin the shape. I mean firstly i dong understand how I would ruin it and secondly should the gead af the back be flat or round. I have spoken to a few friends and ggeu have told me to ignore my MIL and my mum has said to ignore her as has my mum.

Congratulations on your baby girl 💕

Some babies heads do go flat at the back, or to the sides depending on how they’re sleeping. I know some kids who’ve had it as babies and some who haven’t. I think your mother in law is just being dramatic. If your concerned mention it to your health visitor but don’t think you have anything to worry about other than putting some boundaries in place so MIL knows on which side of the line to stay Wink

If your baby is healthy and as such is being picked up and moved etc then any flat head shouldn't be extreme and should self correct. If she tends to loll her head to kne side then adjust her to try and even it out and obviously speak to a HV etc about any concerns. but a certain flatness is pretty common
