Kentishgal · 29/11/2018 11:47

Thinking if you both. Twittle I'm hoping you can prove the MW wrong.

MakeAWhish · 29/11/2018 11:49

Thinking of you both @TwittleBee and @BettySwoll0cks
I'm sorry your midwife wasn't very encouraging. Keeping everything crossed for you xx

TwittleBee · 29/11/2018 12:17

Had 1 scan, all that is there is a sac and yolk still, I should by 7+3 today.... The sonographer has made me drink more water and said he will give it another go to check

TwittleBee · 29/11/2018 12:17

MakeAWhish · 29/11/2018 12:17

Keeping everything crossed!!! X

MakeAWhish · 29/11/2018 12:18

Oh, sorry @TwittleBee I think I've misunderstood 😢

TwittleBee · 29/11/2018 12:23

Goodbye everyone. Enjoy my Google Doc legacy! Wishing you all the best.

Just had my scan again and 100% confirmed miscarriage

BettySwoll0cks · 29/11/2018 12:25

@TwittleBee I'm so sorry... you and I are in such a similar boat (I'm 7+2 today) and am resigned to hearing exactly the same thing later today. I think it's really quite rare to make a comeback from a slow start.

Have they said if they will have you back in a week to re assess? Sending you a huge virtual hug, I am right there with you xxx

BettySwoll0cks · 29/11/2018 12:27

💔

MakeAWhish · 29/11/2018 12:28

I am so, so, so sorry Twittle
I don't know what to say. Sending you love 💕

hayleyfx · 29/11/2018 12:31

I’m so so sorry Twittle this is so cruel 😔 my heart goes out to you lovely, sending hugs and lots of love xx

Capybaras · 29/11/2018 12:36

I’m so so sorry @twittlebee - you will be missed on this thread. Take care of yourself Flowers

Kentishgal · 29/11/2018 12:39

Oh bloody hell Twittlebee I'm so sorry, I can't believe we've had so much bad luck on here. It's not fair is it.

RooKangaroo · 29/11/2018 12:40

Oh @TwittleBee :(

It's so unfair.

Thank you for everything you've done and been on this thread so far. And all the luck in the world for the future x

blueeyedviking · 29/11/2018 13:19

@twittlebee im so so sorry. Thank you for everything and please take care of yourself.

TwinkleDay · 29/11/2018 13:35

@twittlebee oh I’m so sorry, this is soo shit! Makes me very very nervous for my appointments, when all we want to hear is everything is ok.

SnailorSwift · 29/11/2018 13:35

Oh @TwittleBee 💕 so so sorry. I know nothing we can say can really help but we are all thinking of you.

TwittleBee · 29/11/2018 13:36

BettySwoll0cks really holding out hope for you as surely it can't be you too after Frazzle and I! This was the private scan. Tomorrow will be my 3rd NHS scan, the scan where they said they will tell me what course of action to take if things hadn't progressed. What is the next course of action?

Thank you everyone for being so supportive, feel like I've made some lovely friends on here and hope to bump into you on other threads. Xx

BettySwoll0cks · 29/11/2018 13:51

@TwittleBee I shouldn't hold out much hope for me my lovely, but thank you for your positive vibes xx

The antenatal team will give you all the info on expectant management (wait for things to happen naturally), medical management with drugs or an ERPC (removal of pregnancy under anaesthetic). You don't need to decide straight away. There are heaps of MN threads about people's experiences; I booked in for an ERPC with my first but on the day, they unexpectedly found a heartbeat and so they wouldn't perform the op. It was heartbreaking really, the baby wasn't developing properly and in the end it terminated naturally at 10 weeks. Very personal decision so take a little time to think it through. I wanted the ERPC just to get through it and be able to start TTC again. A huge hug to you xxx

hayleyfx · 29/11/2018 13:54

@TwittleBee you will really be missed here, I wish you the best of luck for the future. I’m on a thread “ttc after pregnancy loss” everyone there can give you great advice on management of MC. I’ve had medical management and natural losses before so if you ever need a chat, I’m here. I know how it feels. It’s just unbelievably shit. Again, I’m so sorry xx

StargazyDrifter · 29/11/2018 13:56

Oh TwittleBee what rotten luck and so very sorry. Welling up just reading all this. Please, please, be kind to yourself; and do PM if you want any info or support on ERPC or MC, done both. You've been such a lovely, caring and uniting presence on here and will be sorely missed. Everything crossed for you for next time, and it will definitely happen when the time is right. Do pop back of course whenever you feel like, it will always be a pleasure.xxxx

Thanks for the boobies comments, everyone. I'm in one of my normal bras at work today. Hurts. Happy with that for now! 🙃

edidxb · 29/11/2018 14:10

Oh gosh @Twittlebee - really sorry to hear that. It's so rubbish and so awful no matter how much you build yourself up for it.

I thought I was having my scan today, but I got it all wrong. It's next Thursday instead so I have another week to wait to see if there has been growth etc.

Good luck @BettySwollocks for this afternoon.

x

Delilah7 · 29/11/2018 14:19

@TwittleBee I'm so sorry. :(

This is what's putting me on edge about my scan today! X
